I'm not questioning that they needed to do something about the situation but it just sounds to me like they handled it all rather badly Those dogs are very powerful animals, to any other breed Im sure the tazer would of been enough but these dogs once the heads gone it takes a hell of a lot to stop them. So it was just a total racist attack you were walking quite normally by yourself minding your own business when suddenly approached by 5 lads with "skinheads" (automatically racist because they have no hair mind) which proceeded to set upon you for no apparent reason? It would make me think that the dog had the makings of a brilliant long netters dog. One that would chase the rabbits into the net but leave them alone when they are in the net. Was speaking to a couple of old boys about there hunting days pre ban, one of them "old boys" told me about a dog he used to own not a massive dog, but he got it at a few months old a said it was scared of own shadow, but turnt out to really game on hunting bunnys squirrels ect always lchasing them but for a whole first season 1yr old then after taking it out time after time 20 + times in fact easy runs squatters the lot it never caught a rabbit ! I'm bringing my new pup on this summer, basically at this point with a 8 month pup you wanna concentrate on getting it ready for winter, recall ect get it all up together this summer and he'll be ready to start next season. Good luck
