shite Intelligent input. Have you ever worked dogs on wild boar? Was thinking the same,another intelligent comment,but no opinion to go with it. In actual fact your correct it wasnt an intelligent comment, I typed the first thing that came in my head , my opinion is simple I dont think that it is acceptable to impound an animal and let two dogs attack it for whatever reason, no respect for the animal , say what you like but its a form of baiting in my book and something I dont personally agree with.

Both my bitches were brought up and entered the same way, the bullx more headstrong and a real pain in the arse at times ,my bedx is more switched on, matured earlier, more obedient and alot sharper and harder mouthed on rats / squirrels, I know all dogs vary but the bedx every time for me.

Ive got a 3/4 whippet 1/4 bull bitch very strong, good prey drive, works cover well and marks but a bad yapper, she cant hold a candle to my 3/4 whippet 1/4 bedlington bitch for catch rate and pretty much else besides, I tell a lie shes slightly better looking if that really matters.

Thanks, I looked the nissan up but for some reason on autotrader they don't list mpg figures for this model. handy looking truck though. Id go for the merc personally ,if your only doing green lanes and nothing to severe a set of all terrain tyres would help ive had the new shape navara and thought it was shite on fuel, I know a bloke who uses a 270ml with mud tyres around his farm with no problems , ive got a new shape 320cdi ml and use that for going shooting in ect havent been stuck yet!

I use both mine for all small vermin a 3/4 whippet 1/4 bedlington & a 3/4 whippet 1/4 bull , very sharp on rats, rabbits, squirrells ect ideal ferreting & mooching dogs, best type of dog for my type of hunting nowadays.

no but the fractions allow you to gain a good idea to the size or shape they could be Seven different breeds in that mix its pot luck size and shape ive seen 22" to 28" out of lurcher to lurcher matings, good luck with the pups.

Bread and milk is a very poor diet for ferrets your far better off feeding a good quality dry food on the days you dont feed them carcass.
