if i were you king ,i would get in touch with your local feo and have a chat before filling in all the forms and sending them the money.for your fac.you will be very lucky to get either rifle or shotgun for that amount of space to shoot in.they are getting very strict these days ,i've heard of lads getting a 3 month hold back on there shotgun licence untill they have had a bit of experience at clay clubs, they'll be land checks to be done and if they aren't any natural back stops they will want to see high seats to shoot from.its a tricky one but i'm sure someone on here will point you in the -

Howa 1500 / Predator 8 mod / and only had enough cash left for a Nikko Stirling Nighteater, which turned out not to be too bad for money,i know theres loads out there better but it will do me for now till i save for a new one, rifle accurate and silencer quiet, trigger came in at 5lb pull so had that sorted straight away, hope you get what you want. pipcock -
yeah it were a bit markha, its a good stretch we use for checking our cf gear as well up to 250 mtr but the only place we can set up can get a bit breezy.on the bottom target first shot was out of circle ,adjusted scope ,2nd shot just high from centre, then shot the other 3 off for my group, the top target was a 5 shot group test, haven't had any of my rifles long so still learning really, pipcock

usually 1" or less at 100yd using / cz 452 16" varmint (with trigger kit fitted). sorry i haven't put something to scale it with but the target rings on the left of one target are 1" and the other target is not far off the outside diameter of the pins i used to hold the paper,if you get me ,pipcock

just a general moan !!!!!!! Lads, we have just had a load of wasted days on another section (deer poachers) with blokes arguing the toss, its supposed to be for advice and the odd tale or two, everyone’s has to offer different advice but it seems that nearly every forum listing we go on lately its just full of what’s supposed to be mature hunting folk whom are lucky enough to own and use firearms, arguing over what seems so trivial to help the rest of the community, happy days, pipcock

People on the earlier thread you started were trying to help you but nothing was acknowledged, did you talk to markha he had one for sale. most, if not all full bore moderators cut down noise and recoil. Most people have what youv'e mentioned, but at the end of the day its down to your preferences, they've all got good and bad points . -
I think anyone spending more than 20 to 30 quid on a torch must be mad .been there and done it with tiablo,s etc...get good quality torches from abroad now for peanuts.... Any chance in pointing a few people in the right direction on where to find and which to buy, from abroad, would be a great help because no one wants to be paying £200 for what is basically a torch.atb pipcock

there you go wanderinstar get that one bought off markha and your sorted ,cant fault the Wildcat Predator 8...pipcock

all down to how much money you have spare,i bought new but only because there wern't a second hand one in and i needed it quickly.nowt wrong with second hand as long as its not burnt out on the inside, usually most are ok, just have a good search on net for best price, then ring your local gun shop up for a deal, got mine £60 cheaper when bought with gun..keep looking on here as well.......atb pip

Just come back off a short break and this is the email i came home to from my shooting buddy . "The bad news is I found a roe doe with a wound high in the spine from a high velocity bullet. She was about half way from the gate in the wheat field over the river ...250yrds. Dead obviously and very fresh, only killed hours before. I was there at 10..30am. Definitely bullet wound, the meat was granulated, typical of high velocity impact and no other bruising which she would have had in a car/traffic accident.." looks like were all up against it lads ,pipcock
