    is the engine kaput ,or is it a money saving project ,the reason i ask is have you looked into having a gas conversion done ,most of my mates are running V8 4L petrol, gas converted ,just a thought pipcock

    I did mine with the instuctions that came with the finishing kit i purchased ,but theres lots on youtube etc i did everything it told me to do and it turned out 10 x better than what it were.you have to be careful and spend a bit of time with the checkering and be very careful with the forend ,it doesnt take much to damage them,but if you take your time you'll be well happy with it .......good luck pipcock

    John Brown will sort you out at Browns lock stock and barrel ,Hillsborough,and he wont rip you off ,you will get looked after, if your only just filling your forms out ,you will have a good few weeks/months wait for them to be approved,sheffields feo is spot on as well. as far as shotguns are concerned theres loads to choose from ,but like said on earlier post ,get to shop and look at a few. atb pipcock

    Edgar Bros on mine,its spot on good build ,but like the ones mentioned above harris deben alike, any of them are ok but dont put a five quid piece of crap on it, at the end of the day your resting your rifle on it . atb pipcock

    Prior to adjustment the pull was 5.5 Lbs. exact same as mine were before the trigger work ,you wont believe the difference,how much creep has it got ,if you pulled the trigger on mine nice and steady it had 3 creeps before the final crack.i had some honing work done on it to take it out and it felt like a totaly different rifle,you can concentrate on the shot itself rather than wondering when it were going to break,good luck with it

    Why do you need a heavy barreled gun in a .22lr.. The americans are lighter all round and narrower profile, I have both and I'd rather the american over the varmint any day. for some reason mine says American Varmint on it ,with a nice bit of wood on it ? anyway as far as weight goes i dont think there all that bad as my eight yr old carries mine around all day

    , I HAVE NOW OBTAINED MY FAC, if you have already obtained your fac surely you will have already sorted the calibre you need ? but anyway 243 gets my vote.
