  4. By the way - Is it just foxes that get hunted at 'hunts'. I dont think people will openly talk about this My personal opinion is if there's a reason to shoot something - food, clothes, land management then I understand that, but don't understand shooting something to have it's head on the wall. I see this, as if your shooting anything for the reason you have mentioned then the head on the wall is the bi-product its a lot of probing your doing and a lot questions your asking ,like lab said its very suspect of being an anti .

  7. best thing to do is put a sample up of the questions so people know whether they want to do it or not,if its all about where you go and what you shoot etc,you could be an anti collecting info

You may only lend a shotgun to someone without a certificate if you are with that person, on land of which you are legally the occupier OR if you are at a clay pigeon shoot where the chief constable has granted special permission to allow non-certificate holders to shoot. this is off the basc site
  9. Any body doing the basc gamekeepers fair, Catton Park in a couple of weeks, because of the nice sunshine we had last week (sucker!!) we decided to make a long weekend out of it and booked a nearby camp site (tent) .Never camped in snow should be a laugh anyway ,3 of us and a mad cocker

Tell him what you have said here, i told them the same ,been out with my mate shooting for months and shot all his calibre's (which I had) how do they expect you to gain experience shooting before you apply for you FAC. and if you have land with permissions with quarry on and been passed for that calibre you should be ok ,other than that they may need to do land checks etc. I got a .17hmr and a .243cf first application and the only condition they added was it was a closed FAC,which has now been opened ,looks like youv'e done plenty of shooting anyway,just be yourself,and there not usually t

  16. Yep its perfectly normal with most semi auto,s , its more noticeable at night time for obvious reasons ,don't worry about it.
