i agree with the dog/puppies selling for a mate etc,but there is a few lads/lasses that dont post much or get involed in the posts, but do sell hunting related items ,dvds, purse nets,lamps etc as they move in them circles outside of this forum to get hold of the gear, i cant see that they are doing any harm( may make a bit of profit so what) if you are into a hobbie that requires equipment you want somewhere to buy the stuff either new or s/hand, big deal if they have a lot of stuff through their hands,they are providing a gap that needs filling in the market

Thanks you two i have been feeding complete dried food , it seems like the more expensive (better) food makes them do it more. maybe i will go on to raw meat and bones and give that a go its called pica,there is something lacking in there diet, thats why they feel the need to eat their own crap, feed flesh, chicken /lamb/beef/tripe etc although tripe is high in water content use it as a mix with other meats if you want ,fresh bones for the marrow,a varied meat based diet with veg and you wont have this problem and the amount of crap you will be clearing up will drop 3 fold ps dont co

getting back to ferret boy charlies oringnal post this is what i would do with a 6 month old pup starting from the top in that order 1 get his/her recall spot on 2 sit/stay/ lay etc 3 retreiving to a standard of a gun dog 4 stock break 5 ferreting sessions sit/watch 6 jumping 7 jumping /retreiving 8 out lamping for a look 9 lamping 10 general all round work by the time you have got to the last bits 8-10 your dog should be old enough to take both mentally and physicaly the work of a working lurcher up until that point take him everywhere you can with you to introduce him to diff

go for it ,i could think of easier ways to make a living, do a good job and your reputation will grow as will your income do 1 bad job and thats the one they will talk about,plenty of work out there for the right people, nothing for the wrong ,good luck -
