  17. Does anyone have a really good recipe for sloe/damson gin? I make elderflower wine and other stuff...but would love to try sloe or damson gin/vodka this year. Any help or tips would be appreciated. Thanks ...... ive made this several times.. so im speakin from experiance.. not copying and pasing from other sites like some do !!! take any 1- 1/2 litre fizzy drink bottle, and fill to the top of the label with pierced sloes, pour in through a funnel a small bag of castor sugar.. now top up with cheap gin or cheap vodka.. shake it every day for a week and then once a week for ages lol
  18. basicly [bANNED TEXT] jim says says for turbo-cider.. 4 litres of apple-juice a cup of sugar and a packet of yeast either cider yeast or champagne works well... also adding a cup of strong steeped tea adds body and tannins, i uaualy boil one cup with 4 teabags left to cool add this first then ya sugar and juice finaly add the yeast.. yeast nutrient is good to add if you can get it.. p.s it dont have to be apple juice.. grapefruit, pear , peach the choice is yours heres a couple oi got bubbling away nicely

  20. take your back leg and place it in a deep baking tray rub it over with butter then rub on seasoning <old bay> is good if you can get it if not some herb seasoning will do, then cover in streaky bacon,,, make up a pint of bisto chicken gravy, but more waterey than you use at the table , then pour this over the meat and cover with foil sealing around the edges cook on high for about 2 hours if its a big leg,,, every 20 minutes or so take out of oven pull back the foil and liberly ladel the the gravy juices all over it then place back the foil and back in the oven,,,,, when it is done no
