thats just the problem with this country whats written above. Do you honestly believe people who commit these type of crimes honestly care and spend the rest of there days living a nightmare inside...yeah right, these are sick individuals who could not give two hoots about being locked up, being kept by us taxpayers, meals, private healthcare, gyms and all their other entitlements just waiting for some do gooder to let them free. Let them fry or die and the families of lost ones can have some closure and not also be commited to a life sentence everytime theres a mention of the convicted ones

what is the best way to rost a row deer leg
yoggerman replied to poacher2225's topic in Living Off The Land & Game Cooking
take your back leg and place it in a deep baking tray rub it over with butter then rub on seasoning <old bay> is good if you can get it if not some herb seasoning will do, then cover in streaky bacon,,, make up a pint of bisto chicken gravy, but more waterey than you use at the table , then pour this over the meat and cover with foil sealing around the edges cook on high for about 2 hours if its a big leg,,, every 20 minutes or so take out of oven pull back the foil and liberly ladel the the gravy juices all over it then place back the foil and back in the oven,,,,, when it is done no -
no its completely different to a lightforce,,, what you have to do is remove the four screws holding the glass lense in place, then pop out the bulb holder ,at the back of the bulb holder there is a little grub screw that holds it to the reflecter, loosen this off and then with the lamp turned on hold the reflecter and push or pull the back end untill you get the tightest beam , then tighten up the grub screw to keep it in place..................

I TOTALY AGREE LIGHTFORCE BLITZ 240 is the daddy of all lamps , nothing comes anywhere near it

-
hhmmmm funny that , look's like an early bsa airsporter to me , what with that tap-loader and sloping rear end of action, but what would i know , i dont have a bsa logo as my avatar...

from what i was told from some one in the know last year ,, they were working on this gun and one of the main reasons for a replacement for the s410 was to make a gun with less tuneable parts ie tamper-proof cos the old bill had complained about the amount of s410's they had conferscated that where over the limit....

at least we all seem to agree on one thing ,,, pcp is the way forward,,,, p.s fred carter is proberly the best pest control shooter in the country he has had his ripley xl9 for about 6 years and it is fac. high-power over 50 ftlbs and it has never gone wrong nor has it needed to be serviced and has shot over 20 thousand pellets through it in his own estimation... i have a s410 xtra hand assembled and tuned by ken turner... it is dog's croutons of s410's chucking out nearly 45 ftlbs with bisley mag's

like i said i was a diehard for springers mainly ram's i had the best of these guns .. and rammed everything else of mine and fitted them blindfolded on friend's guns trust me... after shooting these guns on a large farm fred had permission on, i couldnt wait to bin the hw90 which was my fave up untill that time and get a s410,, like they say on the advert why have cotton when you can have silk...... p.s anyone who has used the ripley xl9 on a proper pest control shoot would agree this gun isnt over-rated it is fact the rollsroyce of guns.. and fred said the only reason youd say that about the

i feel sorry for you,,, i used to to be the same,,, i had everything rammed,,, or theoben 90's or slr98's,,,,,,,, dont waste your money on a ram sell the break-barrel and get an ripley xl9 the greatest air-rifle in the world bar none,,,,,,,,,,,, failing that an air-arms s410,,, the accuracey is unbelievable,, no more aching arms and inacuracey caused by the ram smashing itself silly into the end of the action,,,,,, trust me i was a die-hard ramfan but have know seen the light...... i owe it all to the legendary fred carter for showing me the way forward..... honestly non pcp guns are only fit

my favourite way is to rub the leg with butter , cover in streaky bacon bacon and a little bit of italian herb seasoning,, place it in a baking tray and pour over a pint of chicken gravy <make the gravy more watery than u normaly would> cover in foil and every cook on medium for about 2 - 3 hours depending on size ,, every 15 or 20 minutes take it out of the oven pull back the foil and ladel the gravy all over it... for the last 20 minutes remove the foil to crisp up the bacon,,, i like eating mine with creamy mushroom strogonoff sauce which comes in a packet and you just stir in to hot
