Cheers for the replies lads. They shouldnt have been kennelled together together just had other sheepdogs and stuff on heat. Wont happen again! Wounds look pretty bad and she isnt closing her jaw much atall but she is eating when i cut the meat up small enough. Typical that it happens my best bitch just before the lambing calls will start!

Comedian mate! Another hardcore city nobed! Mate if theres one thing thes dogs do see enough of is the great outdoors as you call it! Theyre out all day on the farm not kennelled up as a lot of terriers and get dug often. The reason i ask about this swelling is because my dogs are bayers and dont usually get cut up that bad. If you havent got any advice dont post

thank you you are a fountain of knowledge! I gave her a jab of penecilin and washed the wounds out just wanted to know of something to give her as an anti inflammatory, cheers atf il see if i can get some

Two of my terriers have been fighting in the kennels and ones got quit a bit of swelling/ cuts to the lower jaw. Whats the best to give her to get the swelling down?

haha ive also got a cracking tom cat had loads of mice in my garden shed -
ABSOLUTE BULL S**T. FROM THE BREEDING SIDE OF WHAT YOUR SAYING. IVE SEEN THE BEST OF TERRIERS GET SICKENED BY ITS QUARRY AND COME AWAY AFTER A FEW HOURS OF DIGGING, THERES LIMITS, WHEN THE QUARRY CHARGES AND CHARGES NON STOP, AND IT NOWS IT CAN BEAT A TERRIER, WHICH HAPPENS WHEN THERES BIN A FEW FAILED DIGS ON IT. I WOULDENT CALL THEM SECOND RATE WORKERS IDE CALL THEM A GOOD WORKER THATS ACCOUNTED FOR ITS SELF. YOU CANT BREED FROM A OVER HARD DEAD DOG. JUST MY OPINION.Looking with a Gamedog mind at it, I have to agree with that last centence from Daniele Santoni. But saying this, I am learning
