Just seen these pups advertised in the countrymans weekly, just about to get my first dog for rabbiting. What do you think about this cross, never seen one advertised before with Spaniel in it. What are the qualitys of this breed? Any input would be more than welcome. The pups are 6 weeks old and are going for £150.

Would keeping a working dog in the house have a effect on its working abilitys becouse i would hate to have it stolen i hear about it alot. My ferrets are spoilt rotten and part of the family but they work their knackers off!

Maxhardcore has a 18 month old whipp/greyhound dog for sale,looks a cracker mate & just what you want by the sounds of it? Just had a look at that dog, nice looking, how big would you say it is? At that age once you start working them, and they are from good working lines do they learn easy?

How much could i expect to pay for a quality rabbiting dog to work with my ferrets i.e Stock broken, Mark's holes, Reitreves live to hand. Im not interested in a dog what runs hare's or fox's, are dogs like this available, no sarcastic comments please as this is a genuine post from someone who wants to take the next step. I wouldnt no what to look for in a pup or have the expeirence to bring it on, what sort of cross/breed would i need to be looking at? Size? Dog or bitch? Rough or smooth coat? I have lots of permission and a exellent home. Thanks All

Got a phone call from my uncle last night asking if i wanted to go and have a look with the guns at his permission in york, i told him that i had the locaters and nets for the ferrets so he said well bring the ferrets then. I got all the stuff ready for the morning when he was picking me up about 08:30. Loaded the 4x4 and off we went me, dad & uncle got there about 09:10. Headed off down one side of the strawberry field, holes everywere just looking for sign's of bunnys we saw a fresh set with droppings & fresh scrattings around it my uncle springer got its head down one of the holes
