    i have seen videos of poeple shooting them at up to 75 yards with AAA and full choke but i wouldnt risk shooting them any further than about 45 yards. i heard someone say that they seen a guy shoot a fox at 90 yards on here a while ago but i think they might of been talking rubbish.

    ive hunted just about everything legal to hunt with an air gun and found that most of the time regardless of what pellet or rifle i have used that pellets dont deform much at all and that the only time they do is on wood or metal backstops

    yeah but most of the time you wont have chance to change cartridge and then get a shot

    yeah i just use the 410 or fun and its only a single shot so you have to be spot on

    well iwould set the crows as close as you can bring them as they are tough birds so closed range is best and the pigeons i would set out randomly with biggish gaps in the pattern to give them room to land.. there are some videos on youtube of guys using popup hides and thats what they do and its seems to work.

    yeah your right i always use gloves and face mask when shooting crows

    a face cover is more importent than netting. i have had birds come in while ive been out moving about as long as i have a face mask

    hi ive shot loads of pigeon and there now in the freezer and was looking for some help with what to make them into. ive fry them and eat them with salad and balsamick vinager like mark gilcrist says to but i can only eat so much like that. any one know any good recipies?

    at this time of year you want to try and be on the drillings or sowings and most of the day is ok to shoot but it dies off around 12 for me and then starts to get better again around 2 ish. you should try to get wobblers for your shells ifyou can and put out dead birds when you have them. on sowings you can space your decoys quite far apart. its all about the day i was out last week on the sowings and had a 43 crows and 10 pigeon and today i was out on the field next to it and had only 2 and a couple of crows

    i have been setting out my crows randomly in a tight pattern[1 metre apart] and was wondering is there a better way to do it. and if i was to set a few on the ground with there wings open would thet help or hinder.

    mossberg are very popular in the us and are supposed to be very good strong guns but maybe not the most pretty but as a vermin gun it shouldnt matter really. the hushpowers are built on them as well i believe.

    i only shoot wood pigeons not ferals or stock or rock but whats that got to do with shooting crows

    i got them at the farm behind my house. i set up a couple of dead birds and within about 5 minutes i had 2 more down and then after that they were coming in to the pattern so fast i couldnt reload fast enough and pick them up. They were coming in like kamakazi pilots even when i was out of the hide picking up. i missed a lot of shots a pigeons and pricked 2 but i was getting a few right and lefts and even managed 3 birds for 3 shots but one was sitting on a fence post. farmer was really happy and says to keep it up so i will be out again on saterday
