    I live in Co Wicklow [sheep country]we hunt the whole year round very busy in summer [with cubbing] no choice the sheep come first.Its not a sport to us foxes whether cubs or not have to be killed

    A lot ov dogs that went for tria(north or south) had a make up name to keep ahead ov the posse (we got houses raides often enough)These are the facts .Cuilleog breeding or coshair breeding are in most pedigrees back a bit for game dogs .A lot ov them had a fault(if u call it one)They were fighting dogs they were not interested in pulling just jump into the pot and try and kill the foe.Some dogs pulled(not takeing from the dog0Acute badger who had been in the pot before(no they did not always get one turn in the pot)would go with the flow head down pull him out.They qualified.Both ov them line

    Cuileog line was the line bred by the late Billy Rickard ov Waterford he mixed his line a lot with cosshair line and they were fearless to a fault. We still have some ov that mix and they are still as good as ever.

Ive had game fit staffs who were afraid ov nothing.One ov them once killed a pig [ a real pig]when he got out one day.On another occasion one ov them done a bad job on a mule we had to put down the mule.A game staff bitch i had got in one day at another game bitch she killed her ate through her rib cage and ate her heart.None ov the above mentioned dogs could kill a badger and back then i tried them all.The badger pound for pound is the best fighting machine in the world.So dont listen to the boys in the pub trying to impress i hunted with them sort ov peo

    Ive dug plenty ov badgers pre ban was at plenty ov trials.I have never seen a dog that could kill a badger and Ive seen plenty.We all heard the people in the pub full ov beer who have a jack russell who can kill badgers for fun.When people have dug out dead badgers little fido cant take the glory.The badger has smothered from burying himself in or been in bad health anyway.p***y is right people who talk like that are not right in the head anyway.Ignore them like the plague

    Its all about money. Thats why were seen all those pretty pictures ov pretty little pups.So some not so clever people will give big money for pups from a non working father [who we know will work anyway] and a mother who has a scratch over her eye. Be sensible people dont buy pups from dodgey breeding like that.I once put down a full litter after a mistake mating because the dog was only a year old and unproven but the mother was as hard as nails.[beware of greeks bearing false gifts]

    Why would somebody breed from a dog that is not proven.Thats a recipe for disaster.And people want to buy them knowing this.Theres good terrier men on this site allright.

    Good for nothing only shaping. I remember them at the trials years ago useless.No bottle at all they were full ov gas with other dogs but it was only gas.They would kill a small dog if u turned your back but with anything a little bit bigger they were cowards

    We have line bred the same line for 30 years with not many failures. I see people for years breeding shite to shite and that is why they have shite. everytime a litter ov pups is on this thread people want to buy them if u have good dogs why would u want to buy pups from strangers.Because ye are the people who did not watch yere breeding lines and put anything on anything .That is why ye have fuckall now. breed your lines very astutely and u will always have them

    Used to go to the trials with my father back in the 60s. Staffs Bullwheatons and englishbulls were usedSeen goodstaffs and bullwheatons getting certified. Never seen englishbull getting certified most were lifted for makeing noise.Even at trials i never seen a badger getting killed and they were fit game dogs. Ive heard people in the pub boasting about dogs killing badger in holesdoes not happen.The odd time the badger will have dug in so well he smothers just my opinion.Seen kerryblues at trials pure dirt would be makeing noise going up the shore. Staffs and bull wheatons were the real deal
