    The last two replies are the reason why experienced terrier men on this forum dont bother posting any more because the shapers and the know nothings always have a stupid answer for anything put up.Instead of mabye listening and mabye learn something.I have never seen a dog dug to on a regular basis (even the hardest of dogs) who have not come to grief sooner or later by a wiley old fox who makes him pay when he has the advantage.And i still dont understand how with locaters dogs are getting dug more frequently so they are more experienced than dogs that were dug without locators .I would have

    I dont reply to many threads because their are so many experts on this forum now.But i have been digging since i was 9 years of age on a weekly basis and that was over 40 years ago. I learned my trade from the old timers badger diggers and trial men.If a dog came away after 3 hours or 10 hours he was not comeing home.I have dug plenty of dogs in big serious places just to test them.We dug after dogs for 2 and 3 days on one occasion 5 days and got him alive he could have come out but his breeding would not let him.Now with all the high tec finding gear dogs are called workers after 5 minutes t

    Bred a lot down from her line he was one.Took him for a stroll 6 months ago and lost him he trailed a fox to ground we dug for 3 days but no joy.He was gone to heavy from liveing in the kitchen.Most of the stuff we got from him was to hard for their own good that black dog is his son he was 16 months in that photo and as you can see he liked to dance even as a youngster

    I really fear for the working terrier when i see (terrier men)putting up pictures off marked dogs to try and sell pups.Being digging all my life (have and had plenty off marked up dogs)Would never dream off selling a pup always gave them away to like minded people .Then i knew they were in good hands.I see SOME people on here tellying everybody how good their dogs are next thing they let slip they have pups and if you twist their arm they might sell one. The working terrier is going down a slippy slope ITS THE MEN WHO DONT SELL EM THAT GIVE THEM AWAY TO CHOSEN PEOPLE THAT HAS WORKING TERRIERS

    Ive dug with two of them irish boys for over 30 years i always thought they knew what they were doing.f**k me they have been fooling me all this time im not digging with them two b*****ds anymore.Im going to send them a solicitors letter for digging with me under false pretences.Now im glad they dug with blowins and got caught you have just made my day
