    thanks alot for the advice! I will most prob go for the .270 or the 6.5 becuse after a coupe of staking outings I will be joining a syndicate in scotland which has red and roe on it... its £600 for the year which you can split in 2 payments, sounds good so i will prob try it for 6 months first, good thing about it is you can take a guest up for a tenner! anyone intrested let me know i will pass on details!     no mate thats perfect mag you will cse it set normally between 6 and 8 the scope will be ideal for you i could honestly say you wont be disappointed hope this helps you

    simmons have been about for years and is a much better scope than tasco , hawke etc i ad simmons on .22 for years then when i bought 22.250 i said i would give it a go and never had a problem if you go for a simmons i dont think you will be disapointed

    i have a simmons 3.5x12x44 on my 22.250 and i never had a problem with it great scope never loses its zero i just bought a meopta 7x50 but aint bothered to change it as the simmons dont miss i would deffo recomend simmons

    i think you cant go wrong with a .22 i have a brno bolt action and honestly i would be lost without it i use it for crows rabbits and even the odd fox i got a bit of ground for shooting i shot 15 rabbits in a garden and 1 field they can drop a rabbit at a fair distance as well good fun
