  1. Same dogs for all areas. I can't say i've ever hunted flat ground.
  2. Is that a break stick being used on that little terrier.
  3. The far eastern province called New Zealand.
  4. Heres one from two nights ago. No people or dogs were killed during this hunt. :11:
  5. Thats just a normal bailing dog, always shitting itself when the heats on. :11: We have to be careful with what is shown here to the public, the hard holding scenes draw plenty of unwanted attention, especially if the dogs aren't clean holders.
  6. I bet the little shit was asking for it.
  7. It was the purple people eater, your in deep shit now.
  8. Don't forget Bobs favorite breed Clint, the BA.
  9. Not any of the kiwi hunters that I know. Many of you seem to think dogs getting killed to just the "norm" when we go hunting.
  10. Will the Jag's bail though , from what i've heard, they will dismantle the muscle tissue from the whole pig first chance they get. A bit like another kind of bailing dog we have here.
  11. The boss reckons my sheepdogs are wolves, the way they can pull down a sheep. Useless b*****ds couldn't catch a piglet though lol. A 500 pound pig probably wouldn't last long in our hills, pigs adapt to their surroundings very quickly. Just as a big fat hunter wouldn't last long either A 90 pound feral boar, can kill a team of dogs as fast as any purebred russian boar can.
  12. Take someone who has been there and done it before. You guys are giving me the shits reading these posts :11: You wil be lucky if you don't get yourselves killed in the process. :11:
  13. Sweet as mate. Who got to get their boots wet lol.
  14. Here's a short video clip of my dogs and a boar scrapping it out in a creek. Carrying him out after.
  15. Without the hills, the countryside wouldn't be so stunning would it?. I would get bored pretty quick with flatland hunting.
  16. Good one dude. Looks like its still warm over there though. It was a bit cooler today, but its been pretty warm for this time of the year. A bit of sign around today also, but mainly small stuff.
  17. Theres nothing wrong will the bull type dogs, but I prefer the bull crosses over a purebred bulls for our style of hunting here. Add something to the mix with a few brains and leg, and you still get a brave dog, but one that cares about its own health also.
  18. The bully type dogs are usually the first to get killed by a boar, don't under estimate the fighting ability of a pig, even a small one. The smaller boars are very agile and can cut your dog up before you even arrive on the scene. There was a dog killer weighed in at a comp I went to last weekend, it was only about 43 kg's and had a short jaw on him. A dog is still a thin skinned animal, no matter how brave it is.
  19. That rifle would look better with a Tasco on it lol.
  20. He gets on well dude, he loves to mix with the other dogs.
  21. lol Clinton, he was getting a bit puffed by the time that photo was taken. I don't normally have pups on pigs, but the little sh*ts were stealing his tucker, so I decided to have a bit of fun lol. That was pig number 3, the first two got their heads chewed, and by the time Erron grabbed the camera, he was stuffed and just growling at them. All 3 times he jumped on their backs however and hung on from there lol. Forgot to mention, he has now taken a liking/hatred to their mother and tries to hang of her head, not a good move for a wee pup on a 160 pound sow lol. He has the desire though,
  22. The only danger the kids are in, is getting licked to death or knocked over while they are playing.
