Have you tried cleaning them foyrious? It's probably just a build up of plaque caused by a poor diet, give it some raw meaty bones and you should see a difference. yes i've cleaned them at least once every 2 days since ive had him, and theres no build-up on his teeth...i will be carrying on as i am with his teeth ive got him a bone etc already, dry food and dental chews... its just his age im not sure about, its a difficult one, but im inclined to believe the previous owner (sort of), and i would age him at a bit under 3 yrs..... i will find out for sure this week though.. dates etc etc. th

well im told hes two, and theyve got 3 genarations of the same family scattered around people i know, but theres only mine and his brother in that generation and the lad still has him, but i cant see why he would lie, certainly wasnt for money.... im just wondering if anyone else has 2 yr olds with really brown teeth at the base... still good and long etc, not worn, ive just never had this problem as ive had all or most my dogs from pup and always look after them. cheers

can you guess how old this dog is approx by looking at the pictures.. got him 2 week ago and i wont say how old hes supposed to be, but he acts quite young still, but his teeth are really brown at the base and this would usually be how i would tell... just interested to hear what people think about him really,,, thanks all

there has been some decent comments, but not one agreeing with the idiot who started the thread... my point being that him making a false statement so ignorantly doesnt deserve a reply, and he should of worded it very differently in my opinion as there are far too many twats on this otherewise, brilliant site, all just wanting to cause trouble and wind others up.. i thought it was a discussion forum, not a place to pick arguements...

i couldnt even be arsed to read the last 2 pages of this shite on account of it being... well, SHITE!!! [bANNED TEXT] f*****g rubbish, english saluki crosses that command five figure sums cant catch a hare in eire...CRAP, and since the only five figure salukis USUALLY have an Asian ancestor pretty close up the line, i dont think whether its crossed in London or timbuktu makes a blind bit of difference... run any dog on new land and it will perform below its peak, but enough runs on the chosen land and the dog gets used to it....... f**k all to do with fields or jet propelled hares, its just yo

due to a domestic split, i am forced to sell my ex partners lurcher, he doesn't want her and i have three kids and no time for a working dog, it would not fair to keep her as a pet ! she is an eleven month old beddlington/grey bitch approximatley 23 1/2 tts. she has had a bit of work but i can't advise on how she performs but i do know she is very keen and is a lovely animal. she needs her jabs and a bath and some tlc, i have no idea how to look after a dog so i need to get a home for her as soon as i can. i bought him the dog for his birthday so i would like a bit back for her i think £x

i know this should maybe be in the buy/sell section but ive got no card to donate and i need rid of my ferrets quick. i have 2 pairs with 2 cages and they are all working and between 1 and 2 yrs old. not asking anything for the ferrets but will want a tenner for each pair as a token gesture for the cage ( which will be going WITH the ferrets. one pair are silver with black eyes and are small type, other pair is big sandy hob and a really white gill with black eyes. all top lines, just had a baby though and need time and space back. msg me if you want them, im in derby, collection only

1 month old and been marking for 6 weeks. Sorry Steve,I couldn't resist that. A slip of the finger there, what age is she? She's doing well by the sounds of it,did you train her or encourage her to mark or did she just pick it up herself? A pic of Amy marking. she just kind of got to know what the ferrets were there for and after a few months ferreting every warren with droppings outside, pippa just learned which ones we would get a bolt from. As i said, i still ferreted some that I was sure held bunnys and was proved that the dog knew more than me. Since then ive encouraged

i had a discussion with a mate of mine who said that basically a dog will show interest in any hole, and the front paw and ears going up is no indication theres bunnys at home. My 11 month old pup has been marking consistantly now for about 6 weeks and has never been wrong-even when ive been sure theres rabbits at home and entered the ferrets anyway, and shes not been wrong once. Every time she shows interest therres one at home, everytime she doesnt... NO-ONE HOME!!!! So id like to hear about how your dogs tell you theres bunnys at home, or are there people that think its coincidence or even

what collar is that and can i get one.?

the beddo that my lurcher was bred from (sire-beddo...dam-beddo grey) was a brilliant earth dog and a strong, small type. the breeding wasnt planned so i got one for next to nothing and i'm so impressed with how the strength and prey drive of his dad has come through... i would be certain that he would make many many other teriiers that work to shame.. It is just a shame the breed has been messed around with so much for the show ring and money. I still think they are the best breed of terrier and more breeders shouls support stronger working types and bring the breed back to what ot was years
-
never heard of a pulled muscle stopping a lurcher... They'd run on 2 legs to catch a bunny most of them, and if your lucky enough to see any quarry before the dog has 'warmed up', then its a risk we would all take... i would anyway.

i hope they were dispached quickly and humanly nick a swift headbut or 3 is humane enough ha ha
