I THINK I HAD THIS PROBLEM WITH MY RUSSEL JUST THE OTHER WEEK, WAS PUTTING DOWN TO OLD AGE BUT MARKING FINE NW THE SNOW HAS GONE. STRANGE!! BUT NOW HE'S MARKING FINE.

once kept my ferrets in something simlar to that but the mesh wasn't as good. it had chicken mesh on it and the forever made holes in it. good job the garden was fenced off well or i could have lost the lot!! if the mesh is good strong stuff , they'le love it in there

i'd deffo longnet around each warren if possible . it'll keep noise to a minimum. very useful peice of kit the longnet

im having th e same problem at the moment. a bit red faced when i tell the farmer whats happening. a few shots fired all gone all day. we must shuve 5 or 6 hundred off when we arrive

went out ytesterday. but weaher was against us!! the ponds were frozen all the canadas had gone, we uasually see 500 +, didn't see 1! ended up with just 1 teal. very dissapointed

we are talking about the catch on the top arn't we ? do i have to do anything to the loop that the mole touch's to set it off?

how do you tune a duffus trap. guessed at bending the catch so that its a bit more sensative, am i right? help would be appreciated

i own a half cross beddy whip that i bred my self. i couldn't be more please with her at the moment, a perfect ferreting dog which is what i want her for mostly, and shes coming on well on the lamp. I'd say she can turn tighter than my mates dog(21 inc beddy whip x Colly Grey. ). and she isn't much slower either. but i have never seen a 3/4 bred cross work so i can't say which is best , but mine ticks all the box's for the work i do.

set a few duffus trapr 5 in total. went back to check them and two had sprund, but without mr mole!! will this happen alot or am i doing something wrong?

the ground where i caught those skinny rabbits is high up in the dales. been deep snow for 4 week up there now. the day i went up you couldn't see some walls for snow drifts. been out bolting rabbits to the gun today alot futher west and a lot lower, 9 big healthy rabbits. i wunder what they are like up scotland

when for a walk with the dogs yesterday and cought 3 of the skinniest rabbits i have ever seen, so called it a do. no meat on them whatsoever, no point catching them for the hell of it! hope all the snow thaws soon

this is my bitch at 13 months old now and coming on well. fist cross at 18.5 inch -
nice one pal. how iss nigle, his dog studded my bedlington. jack!! cracking little dog she has turned out to be now 13 months.got 4 with her today up in the dales but packed in as it got very wet.
