    to produce a good single handed dog :icon_eek:alot of people seem to belive you should buy a pup in or breed a pup from 2 single dogs to have a chance at produceing a single handed dog!iv had and have dogs from doubled up very good working night in night out workers,talking to a freind recently and listening to alot of stories!i dont think it betters your chances that much wich you breed from imoa, iv known of good single dogs bred from doubled up dogs!whats your opinons and do you own a good single from 2 doubled workers

    maybe they ran over it ryueken isnt at the computer all day long we have alot of shoting permision useing bullet guns and bullxers to retrieve we can drive the land,until the fields are rolled!so its a very convenient way to cover all the land,walking would take days its not lazy its just a very more convenient to use the landcruiser for him and shoot more foxes!the range rover he had before was just not has capable and couldnt withstand the terrain the landcruiser can i wasnt there last night but i bet the keeper is happy again allthe same i wasent havein a go i dident cal

    thought id share a few pictures of my moter and theres a couple of the dogs out in the fields :icon_eek:just went local on myself running 2 pups! well i call them pups ones 16 month other ones 14 month,steady away getting them sighted up etc!the little blue bitch had her second bunny,on her second proper outing really!for my fourtrack running it on road tyres its a right tool on the land:icon_eek: need some mud or at tyres in this weather but it went well on road tyres, even on soft muck,just kept it in high range plenty of power!there not the comfyst of vehicles to be in but far more comfy

    ok thats sounds like a beast. but anyone had a lurcher that would guard only when necessary like a german shepherd? i have a bullx that gaurds our garden,my girlfreind atract trained him from a pup not to a standerd maybe like the forces! but to a standerd were happy with:thumbs:

    they are capable of taking deer, rabbits, hares even.... but theres plenty of other dogs out there that are better suited and probably a lot more capable when running these.... bull crosses were originally bred to put a bit of fire and power into a lurcher, but its no good having the power without the fire.... got to agree with you for once i mean 2 of mine arent big powerfull dogs but hopefully they have the fire,not too sure about the power i still belive a bullx is a good allrounder imoa it all comes down to the single handed job at the end of the day it is in all honesty the on

    shot 2 foxes retrieved with dogs 5 rabbits and 2 hares!happy with dogs!we ran a few rabbits with my mates bitch ran them but just half heartedlie but its only 9 month old!my little blue dog caught her first bunny in fine style,my other mates dogs caught the other 4 rabbits we shot 2 foxes and 2 hares keeper was happy!all in all it was fun, but hard work bringing pups on to say the least my blue bitch had a nasty cut on her ear blood everywhere anyway got her home it was still bleeding pretty heavy the ear of all places pretty hard area to secure the wound any ideas?this is what i had to do
