i love T H L its great always cheers me up when i am sad funny thing is most these walking lads that end up going out in moter for 1st time love it and the folowing season they have sold there collie x etc(no offence to lads that use them)and bought there selves a bull x because unless your a rabbit man its the only way to TEST a dog to the max by putting TESTING ammounts of game infront of them consistently imho

And i bet there aint too many of them....... I think a better opinion is formed also when the same dog has been used on all six species. Kinda helps to evaluate the pro's and con's of each species . In the daytime i might add.....You can only really tell how a deer runs in the daytime. JMHO...JD And its a real opinion, daytime, no matter what quarry will always test your dog to its limits.. And, like you say mate, there wont be many dogs about that have done it.. in my opinion id say this is true but not for the toothed quarry ive found they are alot of dogs that would tak

Well, i really like big game. We spend Oct to Dec bowhunting for whitetail deer. First week of Nov is our annual shotgun hunt for deer. This is a lot of fun. All the neighbours, about a dozen of us get together and chase the deer all week. We usually get 15 to 20 in that time. It's basically a cull to try and cut the numbers down. August is Bear hunting time. Me and my youngest boy prefer our 12ga for this. My oldest boy uses his .270. We do a little bit of rabbit hunting after deer season but the snow usally gets too deep by Feb. There's plenty of ducks and geese but we don't hunt
