    My lamping kit has had its day an iv been looking at the new led ray gun lamps which they say you can lamp rabbits with at good ranges i like the idea of them because they look so light,but how good are they has anyone got any experience with them an are they as good as the much bulkier ones??? if anyone has some info before i buy because i don't wanna waste odd quid would be great

    i made a 4 story hutch completley out of 10mm mdf last summer, as i got all the off cuts for nothing. i used oil based inside,an outside some black water based primer i had laying about,left it about a week before putting the ferrets in because of the fumes, the inside is great cleans up great no swelling at all even in the toilet an water areas but i had to re coat the out side last week as it is beginning to swell in places that the sun doesn't get to, so in my experience if its free wood an thick MDF then oil base undercoat it all inside an out an it would be ok,but ply would defi

    Hey all a few weeks back i caught conjunctivitis, i thought from a friends family,it was a really bad bout took longer than anyone else to go couldn't look in the light even the medication couldn't shift it, anyways see an old mate who's been in the game longer an 20+ years senior to me says he recons i got if from gutting rabbits then passing it to my eyes?? coincidence i thought as the night i got it i had been ferreting all day, that went then a few mornings ago went out shooting got a rabbit from the same place as the last ones woke up pink eye back in one eye!!!! ha

    i find a good signal is mine started nesting about a week before shredding paper etc, an 2 days before didnt venture far at all but all the jills that were covered the vulva retracted back to normall around a week after breeding, an the official time is 52 days + or - a day from breeding, hope this helps

    congrats,i went to the hutch yesterday an found 6 healthy so im well pleased , 1st time breeding as well so im re leaved as its her 1st litter as well cant wait to work em in a few seasons a im retiring my jill an hob,kids got attached to them as have i so they will be my stock. im now granddad dunc

    with my ferrets i always feed them before handling as play can get to rough, an my jill espeacially, also before i handle/play i let them have a free run after letting them out to calm down a bit,but when i got her she was very nippy,real bites not mouthing, i used the safe room away from my hob not even taking notice of her until she was finished exploring an then wanted to play the biting stopped but comes back now an again [bANNED TEXT] shes hungry or excited, as for Tabasco sauce if i gave my ferrets them it would certainly not calm them, if someone done it to me id f*****

    do u know how long the male wil be in season?? i know about females but thought males were always....up 4 it what ever the animal hahah c som good advice do u know i went on yahoo an they told me if the hob gets too rough to put (HIM) in my mouth an shake him an tell him NO load of shite one he is a big ferret half pole cat an two hed probley sulk hes a gentel one lol

    hey all i have just boughjt a ten week old jill. i have a two year old hob an have give them some time to day, basically he was grabbin the back of the neck most of the time nice an rough leave her then start all over again, as its late i split them up in different hutches one on top of the other,i have heard that repeating the introducing each other stage will help an they will all end up pals, short of this as its the first time iv done this does any one have any advice that would help.im only going on my own common sence, dunno how good that is though!! any advice would b

    i have a bsa mercury mark 2, have a look on google for the plans to see what one yours is mines ment to be a collectable i picked it up for 30 quid about 10 years ago now an apparently its about 20 years old when i got it, i changed the spring because it was knakerd,the seals are all blown an its a right pile of shit some times. but a good plinker and sometimes a bloody good gun even though its old, but i did put an ox eccelerator spring in it though,and even though its shite i still bag the odd woodie with it,allbeit its few an far between
