  1. Drone footage. https://x.com/i/status/2000185636251390083
  2. Look like shotgun slug cases on the floor. One in the white trousers getting his head stamped on is dressed the same as the one disarmed. https://x.com/i/status/2000141570956505474
  3. From Slough head back towards Uxbridge to Black park, pick any field or woods around there. Also round there is some nice lakes, which I used to fish as a youth, they used to be on the same ticket as the big gravel pit I fished just up the road at Denham/Harefield. Plenty in the river Colne right upto the M1 & trout used to be in the Chess, never give the canal a look for fishing, I probably put more fish in their than I ever caught , around Hayes, Southall as a youth! But its a good wildlife corridor along the Colne valley. All around that area used to be good for mooching about, fur
  4. I live by a fair size river, few years ago they held a gold panning or whatever competition, not sure if it was national or european level comp. But it was like 2 kms downstream from me! Every few years summer time youll see a motorhome pitched up & some hippie looking lot knee deep panning. Anyways.. always been meaning to go & have a butchers, maybe this summer with a mask & snorkel.
  5. Their was a german? (from memory) guy who done/completed similar on a pushbike, decades! Must be some family $ backing them, then I remember getting refused the loan of a quid to put a bit of petrol in my scooter... c'est la vie
  6. Cozzy is a good lad, turning his life around. Think his bail conditions arent letting him get content around Manchester, so he's doing stuff in other cities, probably good for him - bit of variety. Only been to Manchester a couple of times, last time was nigh on 10 year ago, loved the Northern 1/4 & stayed the last night in the travelodge overlooking Piccadilly Gardens, im sure it was quieter after sundown! What a difference a decade makes!
  7. I worked in Frankfurt at the exhibition halls 3 or 4 times in the second half of the 90s. Stayed opposite the main railway station, it was lively at night, great craic tbf. But walking to & from work in the daytime.. junkies doing their thing in doorways, needles all over.
  8. You mentioned that place before, so I checked it out for a few days on my way to Chumpon then Koh Tao earlier this year. You doing any diving there?

Ant powder will work, even better if its in a kinda squeezable bottle, or decant into an empty washing up liquid bottle, shake & as many blasts into the opening that youve got the bottle for., theyll react, so dont go dressed like your headed to the beach! net curtain, a cap and pair of any gloves & a clean getaway may suffice! Or yell.com I used to cover that area once upon a time in the shires.
  13. Red arrows with GREY smoke, but another fly past later in the day with RED WHITE & BLUE.

    Pet hates.

Lad I know used to go through all the ads for horses, would go & check them out, but more so the passport, if the box wasnt ticked that they were never to go into the food chain, they were swiftly stroked & loaded, telling them it would make an ideal nag for his daughter/dad/or field companion. Couple of months feeding up & off to the meat auction they would go, he done allright at it before he got investigated by the animal welfare people, 70 + odd horses taken. The investigation isnt over yet apparently, aint gonna be a slap on the wrist, all the time the fees will be racking up.

"He's a rescue" If you invertedly bump into the curious while walking a certain type its a handy phrase & youre smirk can be construed as a friendly smile.
  17. Stavross, I got goosebumps reading that, theirs no right or wrong in that situation, you done what you felt right. So do not dwell or beat yourself up about it if you can help it.
  18. Half of me is still in this time warp.

    Lock picking

I subbed for a housing association & had to help a few old folk get back in, the flat plastic & flat cable were soon learned. I got offered a job at HMP The Mount, carpenter & they would of sent me to Chubb for locksmith training, slight regret not going down the locksmith road but didnt want to be locked up all day myself!
  20. That poor man, could be anyone of our elders or in a few decades some of us, sickening. I hope those policeman/woman dont suffer any backlash from the british public, I really REALLY...... Itd be terrible to read that they can never work again or are always getting hated on for the rest of their lives, REALLY REALLY HOPE THAT doesnt HAPPEN...
  21. Saw a bit for sale this year Feb/March, not in the numerous shops, as at eighty baht a gram theyll probably make more profit on a can of coke. If anyones out to Bangkok, check out Choo-Choo dispensary, got told about it by a local. 3 floors, 1st edibles & products, 2nd flowers etc great selection, all 'my friend' tried was quality & reasonable prices & the 3rd is the lounge....
  22. Rest in peace Moocher. Sad news, 1st new him threw print & then in the flesh, decent guy. Hope he can get a shiraz & a decent ruby wherever he's gone.

    Del Boy

Stories go back a long time, they way it read to me, its more about some of his hangers on than him & the town of Aylesbury, where he had property.
