    tea go for it wife,we easilly get the rods in that mimi bus that picked her up back on the subject of the knap,iff its blowing a gale get on nells point just around the corner,you can fish either side of it.allowing you to get out of the wind somewhere..........

    thanks tikka i thought about that place,but was told i'll lose all my end tackle there ? lots of rocks and ledges there ive been told but thanks for the info mate nice one ok fried rice,the knap is ok mate but can get very busy due to the easy parking,they getting a few rays off there at the momment and plenty of doggies,hounds are showing most places at the momment over rough ground,but i hear that the mumbles pier is throwing quite a few out....as for aberthaw,me and wife fished it last week,he knows the spot better than i do,it fishes over low water,plenty of snags there,but a good pla

    i just checked over the barrels ,there are no stars on there and there are no marks as millet described,but similar to what zap says there is 18 on one barrel and 18.5 on the other,thats all i have to offer, i think a trip to the gunsmiths is in order to have it choke tested,

    thanks for that.... yes i believe it is an aya yeomen,just out of curiosity,can you remember what was stamped on the barrels indicating what choke it was..?

    i have just been offered an aya side by side 12 bore,not a new gun by any standards but in good condition,my question is,finding out what chokes its firing at,...i have browsed the net and cant really find any choke charts that i can really refer to with the stamping on the gun,or is it just me,probably the latter being the case,any of you lads out there who are up on there guns that can help me out would be much appreciated....thanks
