  1. had one of my dogs done he had retained testicles hes three and a half now and its very difficult to keep any weight on him see how it goes mate you may not have any problems

  3. some good advice there its easy to think my pup should be doing this and that by a certain age etc and compare it to other individuals frustration can soon set in. the pup has got u worked out and knows your mood you can bet he wasn't far away just didn't want to come back for the rollocking i wouldn't even think of taking him out where he could be vulnerable unless your calm and collected good luck

  9. thanks i think i will try them on a ordinary layers pellet and up the protein a bit with mealworms might try a little dog food occasionally.Can anyone recomend a good layers diet cheers
  10. hello does anyone keep japanese quail for laying and what are you feeding them? i have a few hens a few weeks from point of lay and have found differing advice on their diet to keep them laying.some have said chickens layers mash is fine most of these diets are 16% protien and have also heard that they need a specialist quail layers feed well above 2o% protein to thrive any advice please

  13. anyone got pics of their dogs and any litter mates. would be interesting to see some variations that have occured in litter mates and how they differed. multible crosses or half cross kind of a follow on from riohogs genetics post cheers

  16. if you or any one else wants a free mateing you are welcome, thanks flint for the offer but i have enough dogs on at the moment and not unhappy with what ive got. will be interesting to see what the future holds for this cross though. could do quite well for the right job in the right hands cheers
  17. i think the real rip off merchants are pet breeders selling useless shitzu and pug crossbreeds on sites like epupz havnt seen any of these pups go for much under £600 flints pups should be able to do a bit and more than pay for themselves over there lifetime maybe could be a it more afordable though. i think secretly though through all this banter theres more than a few of us would like to try out his malamute cross or see if it would work with a further infusion of something else. good luck to all those who purhase one and hope they keep us all up to date with there progress

Ive said the size's already.! How is your dog, you had a good season. Ray Hello mate,hes not doing to bad thanks,has caught every time hes been out at night and has good concentration for daytime work.we will have to meet up for a nights lamping when the season starts
  19. ye you cant beat a good half cross i like your dog bird did you breed him yourself? A lad bred him ,not far from me staffs. the dam 26in 60lb 1000yds grey to a 21in farm collie.The greyhound been lamping, the border collie work cattle+sheep, both good dogs. Bryn had great season caught loads of rabbits . i would say he is my best lamping dog so far Bryn great rabbit dog have to agree a good collie x grey you cant beat them. Bird do you have any pics of our dogs sire and dam? would be great to see them cheers

  21. hello i just noticed the vesect hobs thread is no longer in use, where you could offer the sevices of your hob. was there a reason this has gone?
  22. decoy dogs are whats needed get to area targeted tie up out side house shops and watching from near by vehicle with cameras or what ever else you might want to use.down side plenty of manpower needed and spare time on your hands dont think problem will ever go away unless its made nr impossible for them to get away with it
