I'm on shift work for a while so I'm making the most of having the days to myself it's just a shame for the lurchers as they've not lamped all season
I'm having second thoughts about using that frame as a polytunnel as it was only a cheap one of eBay and not the strongest. I might just cover in green netting that the scaffolders use and grow my brassicas in there, is that netting any good ?
Weather has been crap in the midlands but got my frame up and most my raised beds in now
I dug out as much grass and weed as I could but now it's turned over I can see loads of chopped up little feckers, has anyone on hear tried burning them away as I have a gas bottle and torch I might try on the remaining weeds
I'm having second thoughts about using round up as been looking on Google and there is a lot of research going in on as it's been linked to cancer and Parkinson's, I don't know how to post the links but if you google it there is plenty on it
I'm going to hire a brush cutter and try and dig out I think see how I get on
Don't break the bigger chunks up leave the frost get in them they will then make for a finer tithe. When they freeze they expand and break down easier when they thaw.

Cheers that's saved me a bit more work,I'm back up there Wednesday so if I can do the same again I will be happyI've got a load of shity grass and weed up the top end is and want to get a poly tunnel on there, do you think I will get away spraying some roundup on it to kill it off quick
Lads I took the plunge and bought the auto spade, I can honestly say it's not a gimmick it works well
In just under an hour I've turned over about 12ft x 20ft, the bigger chunks will need breaking up with the fork but it's saved a load of hard work and time
Have used haix boots now for the last couple of years, these are cracking boots and usually on eBay for about £60 can't go wrong at that price
These are the boots the Royal Marines have been using recently so says it all really
I've been following this thread and My father in law has managed to get me a plot at his place
There is an old boy next to me and every time I've been down he had turned over a load of land, I've found out he has an auto spade, has anyone used one as I've found one on eBay but there not cheap
Inside the kennel box, raised off the floor, screwed to the wall, kingspaned, ply lined then metal clad it's stops them rotting when jetting down and stops the chewing
Look after your terriers and they will return the favour ten fold
One of my terrier runs 1mtr x 2.5 mtr and if you can get any sheet metal clad the kennel box because if there anything like my lot they chew the feckers
Had the same happen to me 3 weeks ago, 12 month old black bull wheaten dog out the garden
Neighbour seen a lad dragging him up the road by the collar the b*****ds
