There's people on my plot spent a fortune on them, I just got a cheap one of eBay for £120 got rid of the green cover, put timber door in and bought a descent polythene for it It all worked out for about £300 but that's for a 6mtr x 3mtr but you can grow some cracking stuff in them

New Allotment Question
whatdog72 replied to MR TEA POT's topic in Living Off The Land & Game Cooking
Mr tea pot, I'm no expert but you get out what you put I and what works for one man might not work for the next I've had that many people on my allotment tell me this and that you just have to look around and see who's growing descent stuff and try and listen to those people because you will find everyone's an expert -
These are 19x15x12 I used the eBay ones as a guide, you live and learn, I will post a picture of my flight once completed, It is like any hobby you start with best intentions and get into it, hence the post I will take on board the comments and no doubt there will be more issues once I build my flight but that's the hunting life for you

First of mate sorry if i come across a tad sharp and i will be polite and say to folks a good set up when i see one and i have seen with my own eyes mules set up and it is suitable and his double breeders afford more space than mule cages and he also has aviaries which provide all a bird could wish for in captivity.I took it as they would live in the cages 24/7 as you have not said otherwise and like i say you'd call a man a cnut for keeping a dog penned up all the time and birds just because their small it don't mean they can cope in small cages, your grandkids would do so much better watching

Thanks for your positive advise

Fireman just a question, the dimensions were taken from the breeding cages sold on eBay, that a lot of lads have on here use for there birds. The ones that you said "cracking set up that" to mule 1943 Only instead of 2 birds in each there will be 1 so the kids can get used of looking after them and try and tame them, where on my post does it say that they will spend all their life in this cage you called a cell I'm trying to encourage my grand kids into this hobby instead of sitting in front of the TV or a computer and was hoping for a bit of help from people on here FFS
