This is where my filters are going, the bottom drain pipe is to the right and the box on the wall is a skimmer The plan is for this to go into a sieve which catches the shit before it hits the filter then into a nexus filter which are great bits of kit, Each of these have there own drain which will be piped straight into the aco drain which is piped into the drain I learnt my lesson on the last pond so a lot of thought as gone into this as I don't want to be doing this again

  3. The dogs only come this side of the garden when I'm there, they are locked up in their runs when I'm not about

  8. Jeppi very nice build a credit to you, but I was told by a koi dealer your never happy with your first pond because once you get into koi you want big fish which means bigger ponds and he is right. 64 tons of clay and still counting and all barrowed through a gate
  9. Not been on for a while but still digging away, just a bit more tidying up Garlic seems do be doing ok but winter onions seem a bit stringy At least the hens are still laying well even with old foxy sniffing round

  11. I was close to a divorce with the dogs, chickens and fish but now I've got birds aswell the last thing she is going to do is help me This is what she's looking at in the garden now, and I'm fecking about building flights

  13. whatdog 72 just seen your post not been on for a few weeks still happy with my cages ,easy to wipe out .even the bullies mucky buggers . Glad your still happy with them as I just bought myself some, only thing I don't like is the clips on the front seem a bit flimsy

  15. Tuffty I have space to make 2 flights like yours, is the entrance on the front, have used a clear material for the roof I have studied the vids but any chance of a few pictures of inside, up close or the build, I know I'm a cheeky fecker but I want to do it right and I want to do it once

  17. After recently getting myself a couple of goldie mules and listening to these sing in my garden I have become hooked on these little birds. So much so I have now purchased 3 treble breeding cages and got myself a goldie cock, linnet hen and agate hen to see if I can breed my own mules/hybrids I have another goldie cock coming soon and was thinking of trying to get a Couple of roller hens to try and pair up, can any of you recommend which type are the best for producing mules I am just about to start my flight and will add some picture soon, any pictures of your flights for ideas are most

  20. Cheers there well worth it, it's my 1st year on the plot but I'm hoping to keep growing stuff through the winter in it if I can
