    Exactly, used when there's no other way of locating the terrier when all else fails. Then why do lads locate their terrier and then sink a bar to see if the locator is telling the truth. The bar can be the most over used tool of the trade and in the hands of a fool can be dangerous and not help the terrier in any way.     I would agree. I have very little experience with cops in GB but I would imagine that they are not that different from the ones over here, and here they won't do anything unless they have to, or if they are paid to. We have to catch the thieves on video, then threaten the cops that we will go to the media in order to motivate the police. Since some people seem to be hesitant to put themselves in the way, perhaps setting a trap, like Symon suggested, with video surveillance is the way to go???     I would agree.
