i would keep them separate let the jill fully recover from having the kits ,she will need a little time on her own to build herself back up ready for the coming season so she wont want a hob dragging her about

its ok to keep a couple of ferrets in a large rabbit hutch ,but if you can give them more space the better

heres a classic picture of rat tail,some of my ferrets just lose a little, but one nearly goes bald. but all lovely and fluffy come the winter

same here up at 4am take dogs out ,check on ferrets work at 6 home at 4 ish take dogs out ,feed dogs ,feed ferrets, feed me ,clean up ,put washer on , cut grass 11pm die in bed same story here but happy and i to look forward to the weekends

as the others have said its just his hormones ,its called rat tail and his fur will grow back when he moults nothing to worry about

how old befor thay can eat meat i was told 8 week's, there still feeding only off the jill but i will still give her all the meat she needs you should have done a little home work before breeding ,the kits will start eating meat from about 3 weeks of age usually before they have their eyes open .no wonder mum is looking thin trying to feed all the kits .give fresh meat every night and if its all gone put a little more in the next night

all i can say is give them all plenty of fresh meat every night,once a week is not enough
