i would keep them separate let the jill fully recover from having the kits ,she will need a little time on her own to build herself back up ready for the coming season so she wont want a hob dragging her about

how old befor thay can eat meat i was told 8 week's, there still feeding only off the jill but i will still give her all the meat she needs
you should have done a little home work before breeding ,the kits will start eating meat from about 3 weeks of age usually before they have their eyes open .no wonder mum is looking thin trying to feed all the kits .give fresh meat every night and if its all gone put a little more in the next night
