this dog must of had a very strong will to live.40 pellets were removed from this dogs head and it was buried alive it was discovered accidently by a welfare officer while probing another case, the dog was herd whimpering, then was found burried inder a board from what the paper says it started to wag its tail when it was pulled from out of the ground, like i said there are some sickos out there, but it will take more than that to stop this brave little dog,any comments welcome alb martync
thought i would set about the back garden as its nearly summer and rabbiting is a no go,just a couple of pics of the garden before and after hope you like alb martyn
i no this may sound mad but if the ban was overturned on the condition that you had to have a 50 quid day ticket and could only take one hare would you pay it just to watch the course?
nothing to do with qualifications its the snotty b*****ds with too much money who introduce halfwit halfbrain knobs that think they can do what they want and in the meantime f**k it up for the likes of us lot
is there any future for these dogs if the ban dont get lifted soon as there are a lot of young pups out there with good breeding from know hare dogs,do you think there is a possibilty that the bloodlines will dwindle away slowly or be diluted to the extent that there are no original lines left?i know people have there own ways of getting around this but a lot of other people dont have it so good if you know what i mean alb martync
one day a lad gave his rabbit some jam on toast then he gave it banana on toast then peanut butter on toast sadly it died from mixing its toasties,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
I cant agree there a pit is a pit its bred for a certain job, they are time bombs, they should never be near children
if this was a kid it wouldnt of stood a chance
some interesting replies there, i think once you get a taste for it, it stays with you even when you call it a day and your dogs are long gone you will always have that voice in the back of the mind saying god i should be out working the dogs again
hunting has been a tradition in my mother's side of the family since world war 2, my papa was off a family of 9, couldn't live off the rations, he had 2 lurchers and lived off the land as well as their rations, he passed his knowledge onto his son and basically he showed me a lot of lurcher and terrier work, a started ferriting from about 8 upwards till i was allowd my first lurcher and it was a wee beddy whippet 1st cross, great rabbiting dog so that's how i got into the hunting game and i hope to pass it onto my daughter, nieces and nephew
