Hi all. I have decided to breed from my whippet X greyhound bitch I just wondered what you all thaught or this mating. BITCH. Half cross whippet X greyhound. 22tts. Very fast bitch. won the marathon at barnsley a month or so ago. Very good lamping bitch caught rabbit, big rabbit and retrieved fox . also good daytime bitch with terriers and ferrets. Got reserve champion at selby on saturday. DOG bull/greyhound, collie/greyhound X salukie/greyhound. 26tts. Very game dog. Excellent rabbiting dog. Retrieves foxes very well Very fast for his size. She certainly is LH and she ran like a demon. She ran the 100m got shit slip and came third, she ran the 260 got shit slip and came second, she ran the 414 got shit slip and came second then ran the marathon got very good slip and won it well.

you will learn alot more from a redtail thats for sure. If its just rabbit and squirell you are after then a female harris will do the job although red tails are better suited for squirell. The other thing you have to consider is will you ever want to fly with friends in a cast if so then you want a harris. im not saying you cant with a red tail but it is ALOT easier with a harris. cheers martin
