    Ha it was Dents I worked for, they did indeed go bust, but kept haulage business. Yeah quantity pays with pigs, the one I ran was 3,500 sows. Still bloody love a sausage cob though!!

    Out of interest Si, which companies sows are they? Guessing theirs one boar in each of those sections.... I used to manage a big outdoor unit like that.

    I really don't know tbh mate. I only have hmr currently. Planning on getting atop a stack of round bales in one field & thought bipod be useful. Rest of time.....I'm not sure...

    Took my daughter out for 1st time today. She's been asking for ages, so with few days off we went out for a walk. Apart from falling face first & getting covered in shite, she loved it. Only managed couple crows but you'd think we'd had a 100 bird day at sandringham according to her! Definitely bitten by the bug, very happy daddy!

    I hate to say I think you'll have an uphill struggle. Have you phoned/emailed your firearms dept? I'd recommend that (for free) before paying for application & have it rejected. Are you in BASC or similar? They can give advice too. Good luck.

    Very dodgy ground for couple of issues as been pointed out. Shooting has to be last resort but other options can land you in bother too. Friend of mine caught an alsatian chasing in lamb ewes. He tried to call it, tried to catch it tried to chase it out, in the end he threw a lump of firewood at it from back of truck, can't remember if it broke dogs leg or not but it enabled him to catch it & phone owner's. Long story short, he had RSPCA on at him with lots of ridiculous counts. Went to court & he was found guilty of animal cruelty, causing unnecessary suffering etc. I've shot a dog my
