  1. Ahhh cheers mate..... Oh the pheasant. I see it now. Of course. *ahem*
  2. They'd have to be quick; big red means slaughterhouse on Monday!
  3. I'd just like to clarify its the hood that makes my head seem so ET like!
  4. Try putting a layer of straw over the top of wheat, it'll get them scratting about & pecking and pick up some grain. Might save it being a total waste.
  5. Course you do mate......... you moan moan likea right auld fanny
  6. The only down side is that for a lot of clueless people it will reaffirm their stereotypes of the kind of people who go shooting. Whereas one look on here would prove that some right reprobates are also into it!!
  7. Haha I'm glad it's not just me; we watched something other week called one of us https://g.co/kgs/KW8ct5 First episode, up in Scotland lady walking through woodland with sXs, nice i thought. You hear the whirr of a pheasant, she pulls first trigger........and picks up a red grouse!! Ffs ? Anyways it got me chuntering something similar to you John, "how difficult would it be...." etc
  8. If I was you mate I'd save pennies bit longer & get thermal. I thought pard019 was absolutely wanķ. Kept mine for couple weeks and put it on ebay.
  9. Have you not got a woman to worry about those things?? Fucķing washing!! ?
  10. Sometimes its easier not to rock the boat though eh? If I mentioned half the things then I'd have to cook my own tea, wash, iron. f**k that!
  11. So no need for their top dollar one?
  12. What you think of this one David?
  13. When I first left school I worked as an underkeeper & in my first week was feeding a pond and got wellys stuck. Went to pull out but left boot behind, sock right in calf height, tried to get back in boot quick, missed and landed on my arse barley sack landed on top of me. 'Keeper kept dead pan and says all the estates toilets discharge into that pond! 16yo me believes him, tries to clamber out & that's when he starts to crack up!
  14. Like you said though mate still better than work. When you're sat in old folks home, slippers on wrong feet & no idea what you had for breakfast, you'll still remember that day with the disappearing pheasant.
  15. Whoa whoa ian are you considering a HMR for more than just knocking nails in & your rounders practice??
  16. Just email them, that's what I did here & told it'll be new year.
  17. Same mate last night out after Charlie. Started off alright but half hour in and was thick enough. Stuck at it another hour but couldn't see much beyond 30yds home for half ten! Needed fog lights driving home & forecast app still saying cloudy & dry! ?
  18. It'll just be phase. I'm fairly certain every vegan is a closest bacon snaffler!
  19. Will potentially (wrongfully) depend on what your constabulary will grant on 1st application, where are you? I'll get pelters off some people (hello Ianm!) but if you're lot are iffy about CF on grant + limited rifle experience, then I'd suggest HMR. I only have hmr at moment, (no variation until January then im getting a .204, that'll make Ianm be my friend again!) mint on rabbits & crows & I've had few foxes now all under 100yds. Its a foot in the door with some forces.
  20. Not at all jealous....!! I was up at 5ish as normal, pitch dark. Don't turn light on as I'll wake the snoring bear, oww fucķ; stood on the plug to her hair straighteners right! Hobbled to kitchen for breakfast, breads down to crust end & someone's eaten all my crunchy nut. Two fun size mars bars for breakfast (not even mars bars, aldi own mars bars!!) Go into garage to get my boots - I'd forgot to turn alarm off & pir sensor in garage sets house alarm off! Finally get to work & a tup that's been on antibiotics & steroids has snuffed it. Its gonna be a twatting day, I can
  21. Slightly different but I sent my section 1&2 in on Monday to have address changed. Got them back yesterday ?. And mine aren't doing variation until new year.
