    I'm convinced corvids recognise a gun. If I'm on my regular daily checks I'll always have hmr or recently 12bore semi. If see corvid in range, then they wait until I stop quad then soon as I start to move they're off. Yesterday, out to check water pipe, (no gun) had a crow basically shadow me the whole time! I stopped...got off bike...even held up pretend gun....not bothered!! Proper sods law.

    Tbh Ed, I feel as though the ballistic calculator is wasted a bit on 204. Checking distances with it & seeing how little the POA alters really makes me realise how flat it shoots. I've got calibre variation in at minute to get a 22lr. Now on that I really think the 008 calculator will come into it's own.

    That's a rum do mate, some pricks I'm every walk of life. Had an eventful evening myself. Got a call from village resident saying some sheep loose in the woods. The absolute worst phone call, especially as my first Saturday off in months. Got up there & very relieved to discover not ours. Heard right commotion in our woods though so went to look.     I'm only gonna stink again tomorrow so what's the point?? Going to church this morning for my daughters harvest thanksgiving service, mrs already said "nobody will sit next to you!" Seems a bit ironic in a service thanking farmers for their food!! ?
