That's why I said I don't class myself as British, don't feel British. You can use the word "identify" if you feel like that gives you some sort of 1 up. Not sure how "biological reality" applies to me in that one though. ?

Yeah completely agree with that. I was born & raised in North Wales Welsh mother Irish father. I've never verbally called myself British. Any form (with the option) I select Welsh or other & put in Welsh. I went 39yrs never once sang god save Queen, and I'll die having never sung god save king. I don't class myself as British,I don't want to be British. Yet on official records, obviously I would be seen as British. Thats just life.

I'm proud of our country, a country renowned world over for being compassionate & welcoming. And I'm very proud of the fact that the vast majority of people in this country welcome & help those less fortunate than ourselves- now that's some Chrisian values
