i posted a topic few months back asking about anyone who works wolfhounds and how (if at all) useful they are on quarry? they are impressive dogs but i find it hard to believe they have the turning ability to really be effective. would love to see some working though.

i went to bishop burton a few years ago now. it's a really good college. i'm from wales so obviously i had to stay over, the accomodation on site (called student village) is really top quality. they also have (or use to have at least) an off campus accomodation site called the ridings -try to avoid that if you can. nothing wrong with it, but in middle of nowhere so your relying on the college mini bus. good luck.

no, i'm not trying to start an argument, just saying that they are probably born here, so you cant say they should go home. and everyone who lives here has some complaints about how the country is run, or about public transport or traffic wardens etc. should anyone who ever questions or speaks up against something be punished? bit of a dictatorship that mate, and a dictatorship is exactly what 'our lads' have been fighting against... there are plenty of non muslims all around the world who are against the war in iraq.

aye dont get me wrong, i love spaniels, and i'd still personally choose spaniel but the nova scotia dog is a fantastic retriever. allmac - i thought this post was about what breed is best at retrieving feather after it's been shot...?

hello guys n gals. well, it's another year and cheltenham festival starts today. so, are there any other racing fans on here? any hot tips? in todays champion hurdle 3:20 i reckon brave inca is a good e/w bet, especially with the odds some 'makers are giving and the experience he has on this course. who does everyone fancy for gold cup on friday?

i start a new job end of the month, working at a special needs school, educating the students about plants and farming. all hands on, small farm on site. cant wait!

i was keeper on partridge beat with plenty of duck, snipe, geese too and best i ever saw was a nova scotia tolling retriever. better than the spaniels.

hollie is right and thats what really annoys me most about antis, the fact they spout out so much stuff that is pure horse shizen. i was in town the other day and some fella with a clipboard stopped me asking if i'd like to join PETA... haha he soon wished he'd stayed in bed that day. i grilled him on so many hunting related issues, he went red and all he kept saying was it's cruel. made him feel like a right penis. and a very small penis at that!

hi killer. i use to be a keeper. best bet is to do a course, usually last couple of years. i did my training at a college in east yorkshire, left there and got offered two really good keepering jobs. if you dont already then try sort out some beating for next season. look in back of magazines like shooting times, always a few keepring jobs in there, but you need experience mate. be easier than being in army though pal, charlie fox doesn't shoot back! good luck
