  1. Is that your dog bunnyhare? How is it bred? Has it done much? Smashing looking dog, im liking this breeding of lurchers more and more! Thanks Gaz
  2. Thanks for the replies, some cracking dogs there! Toddy - You got any more pics of Breeze? She looks a nice bitch. Thanks Gaz
  3. Anyone else got experience with bull/grey x collie/grey? And any pics? Is the 1/4 Bull enough to give the bull terrier power? And is the 1/4 Collie enough to inject a bit of brain power in there? Thanks Gaz
  4. David - Ive sent you a PM mate. Anyone else got a dog of this breeding? or Similar Breeding? Thanks Gaz
  5. Couldn't agree more. Its not the breed that needs to be targetted, its the owners. SIMPLES!
  6. As someone who has had bull breeds since i was about 6 years old (staffys or EBTs) this really winds me up. Its just chavs who have 'Bull Breeds' to look hard, treat them like shit, try to get them aggressive etc, and then people think its the breeds. If they had a collie or a lab then they would give these dogs the same press, its just unfortunate for the bull breeds that they have chosen to have a staffy or english bull etc. Im not sure if what they are proposing on the news today would happen, but maybe it wouldnt be a bad thing if it did. I wouldnt mind paying insurance and mic
  7. They are all nice dogs mate. Thanks alot for the pics, they are what i was hoping for! Gaz
  8. Wow, thats an impressive looking dog mate! Cant really see the collie in it, looks like a bull x greyhound. Is he yours? Whats his temperament like? Would you reccomend this cross? Gaz
  9. Hello, I have got a Beddy Whippet at the moment, I would like another lurcher and i have been trying to think what breeding would fit what i am after. I would like a bigger dog than my beddy/whip and a smooth coated dog. I was thinking that the 1/4 bull would help give a more solid build and the 1/4 collie may contribute intelligence. Has anyone got a dog of this breeding? What are they like? And would you mind putting pics up so i can see the outcome? Thanks Gaz
  10. Nothing at all wrong with feeding minced carcass,i know of many people who base there dogs diet on minced chicken carcass. As for cleaning the dogs teeth?if it chokes on raw bones get a good quality hide bone. Thanks alot for the reply mate. Cheers Gaz

i want him mate! Cracking dog. Hes goin be a big bugger! Lol.
  12. thanks very much mate, that helps alot. While im on the subject... Ive got a mate whos got an english bull terrier. And the dog just inhales his food, he has had to have 3 stuck bones removed by a vet now. So my mate is feeding him everything minced. Minced whole chicken carcass, minced beef and bones, minced breast of lamb, etc. Is there anything wrong with this other than the bones wont be cleaning the dogs teeth? Its still gotta be better than feeding just dry or tinned meat? Cheers
  13. Hello all, I haven't been on here for a few months. Im getting a staffy pup in the next few months and want to feed it the BARF diet. I joined a 'staffy forum' last week just for the hell of it and when i stated that i would be feeding BARF, this is one of the replies i got... ''are you mixing the food with a kibble? a puppy should be on high end rehydratable puppy kibble first & foremost, just one small cup to which you can add a lot of the ingredients you listed, you should also include puppy mince, full fat yoghurt - chicken necks & brisket bones are good for a growing p
  14. There was a HUGE weightlifting thread a couple of weeks ago which i started. give that a read. I have never been really into weight training but had a dabble, and i have trained with and without protein shakes and i found a good protein diet just as good. Eat plenty of fish and chicken and eggs and cut the carbs a little. Also from what i understand, creatine just retains water for a 'bulked appearance' although i may be wrong. Gaz
  15. I much prefer the UK to abroad, not enjoyed many of my holidays abroad. Been ibiza, portgual, malta and the likes with the family. Went france before i left school in 2005 as well. None of them were as good as the holidays ive had in the UK. Brecon Beacons wales was the best yet. Trekking with my little english bull :-) Also went norfolk last year, that was smashin. And i love scotland, cant wait go there next year. Also its on my prority list to go ireland for a week or so with the missus. Ive heard the guiness is outstanding, so will be rat arsed all holiday i imagine ;-) Gaz

  18. Cheers to all who have replied. Scouser 3083 - Was that a hint of sarcasm there? Or are you suggesting a supplement? If the latter then i try to steer clear mate. Cheers Gaz
  19. If that is your question mate.....then its something that if you need to ask you shouldnt need to know......gear has its place, but if your a young lad you wont have reached anywhere near your maximum natural potential yet so best save it for the time when it will really be of benefit.....thats if you stick at it that long because most dont... !....and thats pretty much what most people would tell you im sure.....unless there after your coin ! Dont worry i have never even considered steroids mate. Questions above! Cheers Gaz
  20. Its not about going on the gear at all mate! Lol. Wouldn't touch the stuff. Basically i started weight lifing when i was about 17 for 12 months or so and was in pretty good shape after, and about 14 stone. But ive since stopped and done very little in the way of excersise and put on about 1 stone of pure fat. Now im thinking about starting weights again, i dont know wether i should do cardio to shift the fat first or do weight training in the form of circuits to cut fat and build muscle at the same time? Or just go full on heavy weights - but this requires a higher calorie
  21. Cheers to both, will give them a try... Gaz
