  2. i would personally use a stayer,the amount of speed that comes off a good greyhound or a bad one is less than a second over 4 or 5hundred yards you could lose that in one wheel so i think a dog that stays would have more to put into the cross

  4. dont know what happened to the greyhound post,but whats happened to all the greyhound flapping tracks,used to go to ashfield,irvine,mount vernon,wishaw,corby wood,thornton and a few others theyre all shut down i think theres only ayr and gretna left,too many young ones brought up with computer games or theyre on drugs,when i was a boy i loved going to the racing and trials on sundays,different life nowadays.wont be long till theres no dog racing left.will be very sad johnk snr

  6. not fast this boy will catch owt lol sire to this dog was a working ridgeback not some fat feckin show dog put to a coursing greyhound Aye but could it catch hares within a hundred yards of cover !!!
  7. i dont think it would be fast enough for most british quarry,think a deerhound greyhound or 3/4 wheaton grey would be better theyre already proven crosses
