hares are much easier to take at night,had a lurcher few years back took his fair share of hares daytime,no worldbeater,first good night lamping hares took ten out of ten made it look easy could never do this in daytime.so i would say it doesnt take a good dog to kill a hare on the lamp,they make far to many mistakes.

nice dogs mate what cross and where do you stay (area) The big dog is an ( alsationxgreyhound x whippet ) x ( deerhound x whippet ) The Pups dam is ( 3/4 hancock collie ) and the sire is a ( Deerhoundxwhippet x BeddywhippetxGreyhound ) I stay in Greenock mate not to far from glasgow
