  1. yeh thanks to those who realise im asking the questions as im learning myself,good to see not everyone on the forum has there heads up there bums yeh it may seem stupid asking how to get a ferret down a hole but everybody starts somewhere??no need for sarky comments stubby,i asked a question because i didnt know the answer,thats how you got to be the best on the subject got a book coming to me from sombody on the site,and been looking it up on the net,so should give me an insight.also a boy i know who lives up the road,i went to see him earlier so we are going out somday in the week with hi

  3. ok,i know where i can get hold of some ferrets now,but im planning on jsut one.basically,whats best,a hob or a jill?and how do you traing them to go down the hole??thanks
  4. well most of them are set on a fence.i made some from para cord the other day but found 2 of them snapped somehow the following morning,so i made some wire ones yesterday and put those out.ive set them about a fists height on the fence,because it looks like theyre coming under the fence rather than through it.i also set one about 6inches high on a narrow tunnell through 2 trees. Theyre definatly being used the runs as i find fresh rabbit poop near to them every time i go??
  5. i read up on it through the week,and made some of my own.i put them out last night but nothing thismorning,i dont think theyve even been moved at all.Ive put them on the runs and on the fenecs where the runs lead though ?? :S
  6. basically the question is the topic.i made a few snares and set them out,thought id give it a try,is it effective?
  7. Hey everyone.im new to the forum,im darren from south wales. The hunting bug is starting to get a grip of me, had lots of squirrels since i started but still waiting paitiently on that rabbit!! hope to find some good advice throughout the website,so far so good!
