    Ok, so I've been giving the pup a scrub under the arms and legs and his bits with diluted tcp. The scratching seems to be less often though he did have a good scratch last night. I'm going to keep this up for a few more days to see if it reduces anymore. All i can think of is mites maybe? Wondering on the best treatment to get to bath him with. I've heard benzyl, and duramite but unsure what's the best. I dont want him getting jabbed up with steroids at the vet, if its going to be a regular thing id like to see what's available that works. He's been clear but i did remove two ticks on two sepa

    i got him from the valleys and he's still there with me and he do have a few scraps now and then lol. The biscuits no good then? His coat is tidy and he's happy in himself,playfull as he should be, but just the itching.

    Hiya guys. My first terrier, who is a Lakeland cross patterdale is 18 weeks old. His adult teeth are now coming through. Since i had him he has been fed skinners field and track puppy, and been flead. Since i got him about three months ago he has been scratching like a mad man, by his bits, under his ours and biting at himself. I've tried a tea tree based cream from pets at home and whilst this sorts him short term he is still scratching, any ideas?

    Haha thanks guys. I got two cats in the house and he's alright with them, the cats gave him a good few whacks. The cats were my main concern but if he's brought up with them i don't see any problems. I'll get him introduced to the ferrets in the next few day's and get a small dish of milk down for them. What sort of age is best to start getting him out and about? As you can we im new to all this so all advice is good advice.

    Alright lads. Picked up my first pup on saturday, black and tan Lakeland terrier. This is my first pup, I've had ferrets and air guns over the years but always fancied a dog. I don't know loads about dogs, but my missus dad said a terrier was ideal for the type of work I do, ferrets, rats up my sisters field, and other bits and bobs. How do you guys think of this breed? Any particular traits to be aware of? Pups 10 weeks old, docked and in for his first jab next week. Going to spend a good bit of time bonding with him, then when he's older get him out with my missus old mans dogs and hopefully

    Hey guys. Got a problem. Been doing well shooting last few weeks, good accuracy etc. All of a sudden last week two, the ammo seems to be flying well high. I noticed my pouch release is messing up and I'm getting a speed bump effect. If i try and hold the pouch different i cant hold against the draw weight of the bands. I am using double gold ttf style. I did go over to ott single gokd for a while and did well but started having the same issues. If i keep firing shots just seems to get worse throughout my practice.     Brilliant mate. Trying to get my nephew out and about with me now he's seven. What adjustments did you have to make to start catching? I may try using the live taps with my nephew, but less brutal than a fenn lol.

    What's the legalities of doing it in the sea? I just popped to the stream that I said was possibly trout taking flies. I can confirm there is trout there and they like worms aswell. Managed to bag one. So a nice spot ill keep quiet to myself ,i think its u touched. I will just borrow the odd trout once in a blue moon but probably return most. Great fun. Much rather be at the brook than the beer garden!
