Hi there. Im justa new kid on the block here and was reading the post"licence for 22.250 from Tomy hmr". I live in Ireland(south) and i am not able to make head or tails of your laws ie.open, closed ect. Is there a web site that i could open that explains it all so i can understand what you lads in the UK are on about. Many thanks in advance Dwight..

Do you get good money per carcass? Nice deer though..Havnt been out your way yet but will be soon to get a few of those mini deer... That picture kind of reminds me of a girl i used to know!!! Money wise I get £1 per 1lb weight after it is cleaned and skinned and delivered to my Game Dealer (head off, boots off as well). Private and Restaurant sales pay £2 per 1lb weight. Still a lot less than my Game Dealer sells the stuff for! Thats not bad at all...every little bit help towards ammo and fuel..

All my 3 rifles are cz`s... I just cant say a bad word about em....

Brilliant scope.Clear as a bell out to it full 22x. Cant wait to get it on the fox gun(.223) and use it to its full potential. Too much zoom for a stalking rifle and a not enough field of veiw imho.I think it`s best suited for a varmint/target style of shooting..

I bought it 2nd hand. 800 sterling..It was mint

It`s a nightforce nxs 5.5-22 x 50. I bought it to go on my cz varmint .223 for the fox and was going to mount a s&b 3-12x 50 on the deer rifle but i ran out of funds for the s&b so the nightforce is on the deer rifle for the rest of the season(2 weeks). It`s a brillant scope but the s&b is better in the twilight dusk and dawn..I did a comparison with my mates s&b and his was super clear as the sun was rising and at dusk..

Tuesday after work i hit the same shoot again but in the opposite direction.Same again, loads of tracks but not a deer to be seen untill i was heading back as th

Nice one.. Kenton industies in the US do a nice turret with laser etched distances marked on it. They also do them for reloads all you have to do is give the info of the load and they work out the drop and etch it on the turret. Im ordering two for my 223.and 6.5x55... Take a look at them. There quite interesting. rgds Dwight yes i've used these on a friends rifle very accurate, but the downfall is they are only specific to one bullet or reload, if you only use one cal and one brand of bullet then this is the way to go, also is altitude specific, So if you do a lot of shooting at -

Hi there. Im in need of a set of shooting sticks(tripod) allowing me to shoot whilst standing. They must be adjustable and light as they will be used for deer stalking.. Any suggestions of were to look and comments of your own would be greatly appreciated. Rgds Dwight.

Mr logic I have the cz 527 varmint .223 laminated and your right. The trigger is Shite....Untill you take the creep out adjust the pull weight and take out the over travel which is so easy i could even do it...The instuctions are in the cz website.seriously it is easy... The trigger is now spot on and the rifle is shootin touching holes 1/2-3/4 5 rnds with factory load 64gn fed power shock..And loves hornady 40gr v-max.. This rifle is a keeper.. Rgs Dwighet

Nice sun rise Dave...Was out this morning myself having a scout around. No luck though... Actually when i think about it i was very lucky. Lucky to be one of the few that can can bothered getting his 40 yr old ass out of bed at 5.30 am on a saturday morning and go for a stroll in the country side with rifle in hand and soak in the tranquillity of it all. Makes a good start to the day. Very lucky indeed!!! Rgds Dwight

arcpest. Give rimfire central.com forums a go. I have 3 cz`s but am not familliar with yours. The forum is for rimfires but if you click onto the cz And centerfire sections and post the very same question you will get the answer you require. I`ve asked questions concerning my cz`s(1,rimfire and 2 centerfires)and have got all the answers i needed... Good luck with your cz.. There a good shooter Regards Dwight

Remmy. What are your thoughts on your night force scope as i am thinking either night force or s&b 3-12 illuminated for my cz varmint .223 which is my fox gun.Its sporting a bushnell 4200 6-24 at the moment but im looking for quality glass with a illuminated reticle. Im kind of heading more towards the night force for the xtra mag as s&b only go to 12x but the price tag of the night force scares me off a bit. Your thoughts and anyone elses would be appreciated. Thanks Dwight
