    Have seen a couple of this cross and they done ok but this will have not enough running dog as gsd to a Lurcher with cattle dog already in it means over. Half cattle dog against running dog the ones I seen were 3/4running dog with 1/4 gsd and they were good but that was years ago good luck with the litter

    nice to get them started young my lad seen his first hunt at 6 and now he is 29 and still gets out with me every week in season moved in his own house and before he put fridge cooker or furniture in he built his kennels its in the blood he even says his dogs are better than mine now lol he forgets I give them to him

    just checked my kennels that the spit of my red dog he 18 months or would have said they must be same litter where you get him mate Bred him my self of are own stuff just worker to worker he seen a couple end of season full of fire

    Probably to ground have a walk were you last seen him look for runs or flaten down spots could be cubs about so may be in a shallow little cub spot so have a good listen also walk along backs of houses look for runs under fences into gardens wouldn't. Be the first time cubs were under a shed in a garden and people who live their don't know have a good listen if it a shallow one should hear him from a good distance good luck in your search

    I find them the best eating and usualy when a dog has had a cut knock of them they then revert to shaking rather than grabbing like they would with a fox in the open they are easy enough to catch but you do get the odd one who will give a dog a good run in cover they are a different prospect most spots this way have got plenty of them and they are now considered a pest in most places down here pity you cannot do them anymore where good sport and what I did not eat feed the dogs

    the only difference is usualy the price tag ask your friend what he would recommend he breed them so should know what each is capable of and as for names lets just call them white bodied terriers because that is what they are

    sorry mate aint got any pics but he was a good dog only stood 13 inch could get anywhere and had the nick name of the detective as he found in big places where others had failed. his dad died to ground as well at a good age mate was down to us for a dayout dug 5 with him on the one banking all single digs on last one broke though dog was dead suffocated sad day put him across a very good russel bitch I had at the time first litter kept the lot none made the grade secocd litter 4 pups only 1 made it which I kept never got full back ground of dogs as mate just said he got it of hunt in wales but
