I have had my variation for 4 weeks and i am itching to get out and buy a rifle, i have been looking at the howa 1500 varmit with a t8 and was wondering if this is a good choice in 223. also is it a big enough round for deer. help would be most welcome. cheers ss

Apparently still some decent deals about...Mr L had the laminated heavy barrel in .223...good, but weighed a ton...anyway from what I have seen/used them they seem pretty reasonable...but I hate the normal stock... The Japanese are well known for making lots of things and bring their work ethic to guns as well these days!! Cheers deck, yes still looking for a good combo around will have to see whats about!!

Again 12g is best with some size 5 steel shot, works every time. .p.s invest in some sound deadening ear mufffffs

cci shite only good for hitting a barn door a 10yds just!!!! they hate my cz, wont chamber or eject a round and terrible grouping, i zeroed at 50 yds with cci and had nearly 1.5 inch differance. so eley or winchesters

Hi ben, well it all depends on what you are going to use it for!!! i.e clay shooting, rough and you!! age size. but if yoused the old mans 12g and were comftible with it then thats your answer, get a baikel o/u good starting gun for not alot of money bargin....

i have ak plate sportrack for a lamping bus!!!! and a good one at that... the problem is when i put it in reverce and then go froward it knocks bad from the front wheels ~!!! i thinks it the hubs not sure, any views would be very much apreicated!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11

indeed all fair points and all corners well fought!!! i do have a russell and i do hunt with her(when she wants) but it is a skill and a well houned skill of being able to hit a fox in the heed at 200/300yds. non that note god bless and good night!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! p.s im out tonight with the t3 and some new 58grains
