I will keep the member anonymous but it would be courteous for them to step forward and put their reasons as to why pistol hunting is unethical. Or anyone else? To make my stance clear. Pistol hunting is not for me. But I wouldn't begrudge the next man for doing so.

Thought as much. Ive been sat on this for a while. Well since UD got booted and I received a PM questioning if this forum allows such images and topics to be shown. Its legal so why not. Certainly not cause for banning someone. I can see the thought though. Some folk couldn't shoot a rabbit at point blank with a rifle. Let alone a pistol.

For me it would be the old webley range. Either the hurricane or the tempest which I do use for dispatching cage trapped rats and squirrels. The HW45 or BSA scorpion are serious contenders although the BSA isn't looker, I knocked down some gear with one as a kid. i think there has to be serious consideration taken when looking at some of the co2 and gas ram types A lot are shite with poor output. I have a Beeman here which my lads use for plinking in the garden. It would barely put a hole in a rice crispy let alone flatten something living. I do believe a member on here w

A frowned upon topic by some but let's have it. In the right hands are air pistols a suitable tool for the job? Are they fit for purpose for shooting live quarry at distance or should they be kept for dispatching cage trapped pests. Are some better than some?
