  2. Well said pal Damashaman where are your quality hunting pics? Lets see them, We can maybe then pat you on the back if you feel thats what your missing!!
  3. I get mine from a company called Airedale springs, They are in Haworth west yorkshire (Bronte country!!). Fully galvanised and they will charge you about a fiver each. Google them or try someone more local to yourself.
  4. No leave your coat where it is, Doesent sound a bad idea.
  5. Nice one mate, Looks like you had a good day
  6. I was reading an article on an anti site and all us hunters are apparently " All mindless drunks who use the influence of alcohol to highten the thrill of the kill" Well i dont know about you but i often drink a six pack of superstrength lager before my rifle even comes out of the cabinet. Idiots
  7. I dont know you from adam, Ive read a few of your posts and cant get my head around what all the hoo haa is about, In my opinion tell them all to get fecked and dont let it bother you It is evident that you can hunt and with a great deal of success. I think the green eyed monster is tearing away at some peoples sad minds. Call themselves hunters, You cant hunt with a keyboard in your hand looking at a monitor whilst sat on yer fat arse. Keep it up matey and balls to them, ATB Moxy

    Red Kites

Theres a good few pairs up by me that were released about 6yrs ago. It was a breeding program to try and reintroduce them back up here. A pair nest in a quarry where a friend works, I will try and get some pics if i can. One was found injured a while ago and it wasnt one that had been released up here, It had a welsh ring on, So they can travel pretty far.
  9. Thanks for the reply does anybody else agree?
  10. I second that idea A few years ago some tosser in my local park had his mongrel off the lead and it attacked my lab pup. I got in to break it up and it turned on me chomping both my arms before taking a whack in the head and running off. The owner was some 100yds away and simply put his dog on the lead casual as you like and walked off, Leaving me on my knees with bleeding and throbbing forearms, W*nker. Never saw him or his dog again luckily for him I have two german shepards and they are cracking dogs and both ok with other dogs. If i was in that situation now it would be either my size
  11. Im looking to get a terrier to work as a good ratting dog and to take when i go ferreting. Im not into earthworks as the only digging i will do is to locate a ferret or dig a hole for a mole trap. Im looking for a dog which is a good companion, Worker, Loyal and easily broke to ferrets and stock.(not looking for much then lol). I think patterdales are nice looking dogs and like what i have read about them. I have had jack russels in the past but not in the capacity as a working dog. I have two german shepards so it must also be able to get along. I welcome your opinions and healthy debate
  12. To add i would not want to try the meat though f*ck that
  13. Im sure rabbit could be jerkied!! If cut thin enough with a sharp blade, A razor blade or stanley blade would be ideal. A good deal of sunshine is required along with an adequate amount of salt for curing and hey presto rabbit jerky. A fire or very light smoker will assist with keeping flies off. This must be done in a way as to not smoke the meat but aid in the drying process. The size of the rabbit jerky pieces will only be small but there is no reason why it cant be done.
  14. Accupell Why the concern if its a big job to wind the gun up? Are you going to do it yourself?
  15. Nice one mate, I have a jar full of coppers i will split with you
  16. Im not quiet sure about the difference between the mk2 & 3 other than the stock has been remodeled im pretty sure its the same guts though. I have the SAS silencer on mine which did dampen the noise a tad from the standard(supplied with gun). Ive spoke to the technical dept at BSA and they assure me that the bull barrel is quiet but without actualy testing one i couldnt be 100% on that.
  17. Ive got one & its the bees knees!! Consistent and accurate. Ive had a few minor problems such as bottle seals getting naffed quiet quickly but a little bit of molycote sorts that out and replacements are to a penny. The magazines sometimes become unaligned so the bolt action isnt as smooth as it should be but this can soon be fettled. Mine is a carbine so its a noisy little bugger. A standard barrel or a bull-barrel are as quiet as they come. Good gun and im happy

    Woods

If you do thin it out a little, You are allowed to take out 5 cubic metres of timber per quater, without a felling licence from the forestry commission , You can then get a grant under the woodland grant scheme (WGS) to re-plant. Good luck
