I think the council have just bought some new kit and are having a play, Or the lunatics have been let loose!!!! There is no value in english softwoods nowadays, Say £15 per ton from the roadside. Its cheaper to get it from china LOL Theres no point asking a council worker whats going on as most dont know there arses from there elbows,( no offence meant to some but to the others offence meant, You know who you are). If you get on to your local planning/tree office they will tell you whats going on with the site and you should be able to voice your concerns or take action to stop w

Rats,, Ferrel cats,, Stoats,,Weasels,, And even Foxes can bew encountered in rabbit burries Alough Rats colonies only usuly have Rats If your worried about your ferrets metting something nasy down under,, Why work them? It is possible to use your ferrets for ratting. There is a danger though that a rat may protect its nest if it has young and fight back with yer fret. More than often they will bolt. Just make sure your ready with a good strong shovel or a couple of keen dogs

Of course it is possible to just use purse nets Thats all i use. One of the benefits with a long net is if you miss a bolt hole or two you have a long net as back-up.

You can use most oils to treat your stock, Lard works particularly well. Buff it into the wood using various grades of wire wool (starting with course and finnishing with fine). This method is very cheap and labour intensive but it does produce a good finnish, You can always top it up with a bees-wax polish but i wouldnt bother. Try it out on a small area first, Because if you start and get a little too giddy there may be no turning back.

The maglite idea is ok but i think the guy needs to have a re-think about his pro's and cons They require a large battery pack They all have trailing wires On / off switch has to be glued to stock If the lamp is on the scope it's easy to "knock" the sight requiring calibration (not easy at night!) Can make the rifle top-heavy Very cumbersome to use and carry I have a maglite that takes 5 D batts it weighs a ton, I know this isnt a practical torch for this situation but you are going to add more weight to you gun, Why when you can carry it in your pocket or backpack. I am sure they will but i bet you pay through the nose. Give them a ring and talk to somebody in technical. That way you will know for sure. Be carefull though, You say it has been modified to be powerfull so at a guess it is over 12ft lb, Which in that case its illegal unless you have a FAC. Be carefull if daystate will not restore it for you because you will be left holding an illegal rifle. Hope this helps.

Never owning an AA (but had the pleasure to shoot an AA410) Does anybody know how much difference there is between the 410 + 200. In regards to number of shots and consistency, Which would be the better of the two?
