  9. I have had countless springers, most of which i have been very pleased with (hw). The best i have ever had the pleasure of has to be the hw98 sporter, what a gun!!! It wasnt the best gun for me as its a very long rifle and im a very short person, but it was a joy to shoot. For some stupid reason which to this day i cant understand why, i sold it. That was a fair piece of kit, but you wont go wrong with a hw
  10. Top job, obviously did the biz! Would you know where I can get mesh that thick but in 1" square size holes please? Ta in advance, cheers, D. Your local wireworkers should sort you out. For that size mesh, unplated, 8' x 4' you will be looking at about £20 a sheet.

Upon winning his social circle grew and he had so many friends Cant think why??!!! That was about 5 yrs ago. To date he still lives at home with his mum, doesent have a car, lost his job and owes 18 grand on credit cards, His friends have somewhat dissapeared too wonder why??!! He had a good time spending it, but has nothing to show. I know what i would have done with it.

  14. Made a few cage traps for rabbits a week or so ago. They have been in place since monday in a customers garden, First result today. A member on here has kindly sent me some snares and they went in today so hopefully get some good results. First of many i hope [attachm
  15. Try and source a local tree surgeon, there is plenty about!! And get your woodchip from them it will save you an absolute fortune. If you are going to use shavings or chippings for an outside run/court, First lay some terram/geo-tex (weed barrier) and spread your chippings on that. When it needs cleaning just pull the corners and carry it out like a bag, empty it and put it back down. Make sure it is weed barrier and not visqueen as this will just hold water and you will end up with a sopping mess.
  16. Cheers M I have been looking for that site everywhere Is it any good

Hi othy. Some of the factory fit or supplied as standard silencers are very good and i do belive that those on the hw's are very good. I shot a hw98 for a good few years and it was one of the best springers i have ever had. It was 177 and i never had any problems in dropping quarry. I now have a pre charged in 22 and the results are the same as the 177. The silencer that came with my s10 was ok but i was never fully satisfied. So i contacted bsa and had it out with them, They sent me FOC thier SAS silencer and it was a vast improvement. The thing is silencers are not a try before
  18. Nice one. It looks a fair thing. What were the pannels and box section from originally?
  19. I hope that leaving old charlie is the right thing to do. I have just said the same to a customer and didnt want to sound a prat. My job is a cul de sac in a pretty well to do area and the bunnys are coming on from a council owned woodland, I know for fact that they will take no action. So other than the discreatest of trapping and snaring there isnt much else i can do. Foxy has been seen around so i think its a matter of letting nature take its course and hope he can thin the numbers a little. You never know he may even become a pain one day and i may end up with a job. ATB

  21. Good shooting I think that one bunny is better than a kick in the balls
