  1. I agree that this time of year its best to use a bit of carrion, However... I recently loaned a farmer a larsen with which he baited with hen eggs. Same day he had his call bird and another to cull. The call bird died within a couple of days, so again the trap was re-baited with eggs and it produced another two. If eggs are on offer all year round, ie. you keep poultry then you should have no problems. Just try both methods, Eggs for two or three days. As said if it isnt producing after a day or so then move your trap. If still no joy then move on to dead bait. At least a bonus w

Possibly but i have never eaten a curry or a kebab in my life  Thats probably the best move you have ever made I have had some very dodgy chicken currys, The kebabs have also been questionable! In fact i think there are a few pet disapearences by me that have gone unexplained. Stra

  5. Just a few of my girls
  6. don't say that, sounds like a great offer. got any dates then. Your right it is a great offer!! Lets see how many that spout shite actually take the man up on his offer
  7. Thats a fair offer, but why do you feel the need to proove yourself to anybody? If folk dont belive you, then f**k them, If your land is racked then bully for you, balls to those whose land isnt. Dont be so gullable to derogatory comments and get on with your good hunting and big bags
  8. Shame its gone pal, I would have loved to meet up with you in a public toilet to have a look at yer tackle
  9. They are Varroa mites. A very common apiary pest and a very high percentage of bees have them.
  10. Cash on delivery, that would make a few of them get there arses into gear. Its all too easy for them to mess you around, once you have paid up front. You could always ask them if they will do you a deal like one of our local pizza firms offers, " if its not delivered within the time they tell you its free" ( or a good bloody discount!!!) You are more than likely to be told where to go but there is no harm in asking!!
  11. Heres mine. Shes only 16" to shoulder and a little over 12 months. She is coming on slowly but catching the odd rabbit. Wont entertain the lamp and if she gets on a scent especially in the field hedges, you can say bye for a good half hour But she is getting better. Whilst out with the ferrets she knows her job and does mark well and retrives to hand. A good deal of time and paitence and she will be a right tool.
  12. Done it just the once, it was a tandem jump. 13,000 ish ft, It was in aid of a cancer research charity. With it only being a tandem jump, the training was minimal, a short lesson of say 30 mins. I am sure that if YOU intended to throw yourself out alone and not with the aid of being strapped to somebody, then a few lessons would be in order. It was one of the best experiences i have had and was over a bit too quick (bit like sex ). Dont worry about the dangers, lol, your more likely to get killed by a rouge goat. Get on with it and enjoy
  13. You will find that the price of stainless is on its arse at the moment, Approx £3 kg for new bar. Maybe a little more than mild steel but there isnt much in it. It is certainly cheaper than EN8 ( hardened ) steel.
  14. How far do you plan to go?? It wouldnt be comfy riding mine to blackpool, Dont think the wife and kids would be too chuffed either stuck in the trailer.
  15. Yeah but you're from gods country so that's different  Oh bugger, and i was feeling all confrontational aswell
  16. Nowhere did I say you are stupid Deker, nor would I as I don't know you. But I'm beginning to think you're a bit too touchy and looking for confrontation. Are you ginger? Are you small or are you both. Im small and ginger, do you wanna do
  17. Wighill park guns, near wetherby do them for about £55 for 100
  18. The mesh is on their for a reason to stop/ detare non target species getting in . I always make sure the entrance is a good 8/10 inches away from the trap, so mister cat can't get his paws in, or mister protected bird doesn't get in.I have seen both cat and bird in a fenn trap, not ones set by me though. THIS is the major point though if you are getting rid of a paying customers vermin do you think they would pay up if their cat has a broken leg? I don't think so.BETTER SAFE THAN SORRY. Fair play pal, My comment was to maybe try and offer a little advice, Not to piss up yer back. Ho
  19. Nice tidy job there mate. I dont think that you really need the wire tunnels, the boxes will be enough. You will find that everytime you put them in the motor/move them etc, you will be shaping the wire back into place, after a while it will begin to do your nut in. Loose the mesh. ATB
