Depends on the occasion, Stewed mainly, as it becomes more tender. I find it tends to dry too much if roasted, but its well on a bbq if frequently baisted. How do you like your pies??

Cage traps do work. They can be used on certain runs or baited. Rolfe has some good posts on the topic, worth looking them up. I have had some success with the odd cage. Good luck -
If you make sure your gun is completely dry, (leave at room temperature for a day or so) Use a clean dry cotton cloth (lint free) and give the metalwork a good rub down and try remove as much of the wd40 as you can. Quality gun oil can be obtained from most sport shops( that sell air rifles or accesories) or your local gunsmiths. Inexpensive and goes a long way. If you give a clean cotton cloth again lint free a good douse of oil, but not soaking it. If you can get a sealable container or plastic bag to keep your oiled cloth fresh and clean. What sets this type of honey appart from any type available in the uk? What plant do the bees forrage in order to obtain and produce a honey of medicinal quality. Is there a honey produced in the uk that can offer similar treatment properties, other than propolis? Just curious.

You need to measure yer size 12's and be comparative to estimate the tail, without telling us fishermans tales!! How big was it in new or old money?? I shoot and trap loads on farms each year some of which are a fair size. Now, i have seen bigger rats than i have ever shot or trapped but the biggest i have ever accurately measured was around the 19" mark, (with photos to back it up). I think there was a 21" on here last year. Did you find the rat?? Poisoned? or did YOU trap or shoot it?? If you cant accurately tell us the size, then how does anybody know if they can be
