  1. A little on the high side then s/h then you want to be looking around the £150 - 200 top side, maybe slightly more in vgc with nice quality extras. Feck, from time to time there are lads on here selling full pre-charged outfits for £350-400. £312 brand new http://www.sunderlandscubacentre.com/4814/...eferrer=froogle
  2. Is your keyboard not working, your text talk is shite. I think its about on the money provided its a minter and comes with a quality scope and stock. The rifles themselves are not that bad, comfortable to shoot with a good centre of balance, about as quiet as they come for a springer. A pal of mine has one venom tuned and it is fairly impresive. If there is room for a bid then get the price down, £299 is that new from a shop?
  3. How far north east are you and what figure do you have in mind???
  4. The only Gas anybody wants to be putting in their pre-charged rifles is BREATHING AIR, from an appropriate tested cylinder. Forget all your crazy ideas of "you can get hold of this and that" or "my uncle joe makes his own methane,Will that do???" You can pick up a cylinder in test for about 50 nicker, and it will cost you about £2 to fill each time with BREATHING AIR. Edited to add, dont mean to rant, just read my post and i thought i sounded just like matt the bloody ratt on my high horse!! No offence mtr but you do go on sometimes!!
  5. Has anybody come across these before?? from Newzeland Not seen one before and was informed they have been aproved for around 18 months, However they have not been aproved for the control of mink in the uk yet. A fair piece of kit but you would certainly not want to be carrying more than a few around at a time, bit on the numb side. http://www.predatortraps.com/ http://www.doc.govt.nz/upload/documents/co...edator-trap.pdf
  6. Utter nonsense!! Your really called muriell and your a cross dresser from cirencester. Belive me, i know
  7. OTC i agree and building a raft would be one of the last methods i would consider, However, everybody has a tale to tell. As this is on my doorstep, i see it as an information gathering exercise, tit for tat and i am sure opinions will be aired You never know i may learn something.
  8. Aquiring a hive may not serve you well. Bumble bees have different habits to honey bees and may not colonise in a hive. (it looks like a bumble bee in the pic) I may be wrong, so dont hold me to that. A large old tea pot or something of similar in design would be better.(or leave them in the nest box and seal up the hole a little) Carefully relocate the nest into the new home and leave them be for a while (no pun intended!!). If they settle in you can remove the lid and have a peek from time to time to see how they are getting on or maybe drop them a treat of sugar syrup Brill
  9. It looks like all the gardens where i live!! Atb with the pups
  10. Out of interest, will anybody be attending the Mink raft workshop in Ilkley, west yorkshire on tuesday 19th may. It is run by the game and Wildlife Conservation trust. http://www.gct.org.uk/article.asp?PageId=7...p;ArticleId=406 To add, the driffield one has been cancelled
  11. If you do a search for past posts, there will be more than enough information and ideas to get you going. There are plenty of companys out there selling cage traps, you will be looking at the best part of £25 + for something worth while, you will find them cheaper but you will only get what you pay for!!| http://www.killgerm.com/product-group.php?group=501 You wont go far wrong with these, worth every penny.
  12. Although the tempest and hurricane are handy little pistols there uses are restricted. Ideal for plinking or despatching trapped quarry but it opens up too many issues in respect of hunting. Firstly carrying a concealed weapon could drop you in a big bucket of crap if you happen to get tugged by the law. Secondly the humane issues for your quarry, yes it may blow a hole through a can but achiveing an accurate and humane kill is another thing, they are not the most accurate of tools. If you are trying for longer range shots. I have had some good fun in the past using them for ratting and
  13. Although the dry weather has hardened the ground trapping is still going well in my neck of the woods, not so much in the heavy peat but fairly well in other areas. What a difference two days of good sunshine makes turning the ground to stone. Happy trapping Back to wet necks and undercrackers now though.
  14. I hear what you are saying. I will vote for a tit, But i am not going to vote for a full blown tit!!!
  15. Has to be wildlife, without a doubt. Nice fella i suppose, in his own special way. You wouldnt belive the depths i had to go for these little chaps. Had to get in a full mining outfit, down about 2 km if i belive, however!!! That wasnt deep enough. So out came the best trenching spade. A good hours digging and a further 3ft 3", we got em. May have used my secret weapon but its still being developed so i cant talk about it

    thumb stick

It is what it says on the tin you knob!!! Its a walking stick, but instead of holding it as you would do with any other conventional stick, you hold it between your thumb and forefinger, with your thumb cradled within the U. Not really any special purpose for the stick just down to personal preference i suppose.

  19. that stuff is a bloody pain in the arse.. it came up through our shed base(2foot think concrete).. we weedkillerd it with about 2 litres before it finally died so we gave it the petrol treatment (burnt it while still alive) Oh jack You are so mean
  20. that stuff is a bloody pain in the arse.. it came up through our shed base(2foot think concrete).. we weedkillerd it with about 2 litres before it finally died so we gave it the petrol treatment (burnt it while still alive) As far as i am aware, it is illegal to plant japanese knot weed, under the wildlife and countryside act. And i totally agree it does take some killing.
  21. You do have a case for prosecution, theft, tresspass & criminal damage. BUT................... The fact that you agreed to allow somebody to cut the tree in the first place becomes the problem. There would be so much mitigation and he said, she said going on i doubt it would ever get to court. Unless you persued it through county court, this would then become a long lengthy battle between you and your neighbours, who you still have to live around. Also the financial battle which you may have to foot, if you lost the case. As already mentioned check with your local tree section at
